Love the design, the sideart (spork babies!), and really love your answers. I'll think of buying this one, though I don't wear black shirts... it looks great and very striking, but I probably wouldn't wear it.

Not all type shirts are created equal- some are created awesome!

Tell us the background of this design.
I love negative-space designs and I wanted to do something where the outline of the letters instead of the letters themselves was the design. I was also trying to capture just enough instant confusion that the shirt was immediately unreadable but quickly revealed itself with a few seconds of effort.

Where are you from?
California native now trying to pass for an Oregonian.

What do you want TeeFury fans to know about you?
I would rather CREATE something (code, write, draw, paint, build with legos, whatever) than do just about anything else.

What do you absolutely not want them to find out?
I'm drastically uncoordinated. Totally serious -- the teacher had some other kid try to show me how to skip in 1st grade.

Name a few of your favorite things.

Raindrops on roses and... sorry. God, wife, kids, friends, bitter chocolate, soggy cereal, 80s music, t-shirts,

What are your feelings about technology?

I'm very torn. I love my day job (programmer), I'm into internet culture, and I love gadgets. On the other hand, I refuse to carry a cell phone and can see how technology pulls us apart from the people physically around us.

Would you rather discover a new land or vacation there?

Vacation. I'm a bed-and-breakfast lazy kind of guy.

Abe Lincoln vs. George Washington: who would win the battle?

I'd love to say George just to mix things up, but Lincoln was verifiably kick-ass.

Describe your favorite shirt that you own, and why you like it so much.

I never tire of TGentry's "Eating Healthy" where a giant jello-ish blob is sucking up marathon runners. There is so much story there with such a simple design.

Which is better, gaming, reading, or watching movies? Name your favorite title in your chosen medium.

Reading by a mile. I read a couple books a week. I couldn't really choose a single title. I read lots of sci-fi but love classic lit (esp. Dickens), theology, and how-to stuff.

What inspires your work?
Frankly most of my ideas tend to be stupid puns.
