Tell us about this design:
Ever wanted to be part of the crowd, buying expensive designer tees and be seen wearing them just like all the beautiful people, but couldn't`t repress your inner nerd?
Now you don`t have to..
It`ll pass as one of those designer dealies to the masses, and you`ll be nourishing your inner sc-fi child. Jokes on them!
Tell us about yourself: Names Scott, I`m from Brisbane Australia.. I draw stuff for fun and sometimes they find homes. 100% addicted to coffee.. By the time you`ve read all this, I`d have gone back for 2 more.
What other interests do have? Really just skateboarding and art, that`s it. Art is skateboarding for the mind, Skateboarding is art for the body.
Why are you an artist? Hmmm, I've never really considered the "why" part, It`s just always been how I wanted to spend my time. Motivations are easier though.. I`ve always struggled with drawing, as I was born with an essential tremour in my hands, it`s always been a battle, but a battle worth waging. Just seeing if I could produce something to a certain level. So I guess that`s never left me. Always wanting to learn new skills, Get better at what it is I do, and bring these ideas that come to me into reality somewhat.
What's a day in the life of Scott like? I`d love to make this sound glamorous, but really I live a pretty simple existence.. I wake, (coffee), watch cartoons (coffee), work (coffee to the power of 10) head out for a quick skate in the afternoon, head home (coffee x 4), and draw until the later hours of the evening if I`ve got something on. I share most of all that with my partner Melissa, and my cat Conte Crayon. Sounds dull, but I`m an exceptionally happy little man.
What do you want Teefury fans to know? I want them to know that if there`s anything they want to know, just ask. I have no secrets.
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which
would it be? Charlie Cheese's! ( I think Charlie Cheese was the Australian version of Chucky Cheese?).. But either way, Charlie Cheese's. Bucketloads of pizza, plus a huge range of pinballs, computer games and whack-a-mole! WHACK-A-MOLE!!!
What do you like to do for fun? Nothing comes close to hitting the streets on your board, rolling in the sunshine. It`s my own personal magic carpet ride. Plus I draw for fun, and while sometimes that can be work, it`s always still fun too.
What was your first printed commercial piece of artwork? Well, what I consider the first would be a skateboard graphic for a very dear friend of mine, Shane Wallace. If you could picture a rolling ball of reggae fuelled energy, that would be coming close to describing him. So we sat down, and drew up a skate-orientated version of his favourite album cover "Uprising". The company added a whole bunch of rather average text around it, and kind of stank it up, but that`s still the first mass produced graphic I ever did.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers? As simplistic as this may sound at first glance, never stop aspiring.
Recommend a product: I wholeheartedly endorse Cup specialty Coffee shop in Westend, Brisbane. Get on down and say hello to Josh!

Everyone! To you Jimi, and MJ and Somni.. all the RB gang, the Teebanter kids, and anyone and everyone who`s ever felt that giddy wave of fear hit them, and wind sting their eye's as they realise their out of control on a plank of wood with 4 wheels.. yet held on and loved every minute of it!
