We've interviewed Fat Mouse several times in the past, so instead of doing yet another interview, here is a story about another fat mouse:

This is Lionel. His story didn't start out as that of one of a winner- he was a mouse like many others, scrounging for what food he could find, evading capture and certain death at the hands of cats. But one day all that changed...

Times were tough in the streets and the few crumbs there were commonly caused fights (often involving 3 or more animals!) just for the right of first dibs. A pacifist by nature, Lionel's skin clung tightly to his ribs, hunger a constant friend. It's no wonder that when he walked past an open doorway that fateful day, the smell of crisp cheddar wafting through the opening in fragrant waves, he at first believed he must be hallucinating.

But Lionel took that chance, sprinting inside- what other choice did he have, really?

As he ran, the door began to close. He pushed harder, using every iota of energy his bones could muster.

CREEEEEEEEEEEEAK!

He squeezed himself in the gap, throwing caution to the wind. This was all or nothing- he'd be safe inside this cheesy paradise or he'd die trying!

SLAM!

Success! A grin washed over his face, nose twitching with delight. His eyes panned over the scene and in spite of his usual stocism, he felt them fill with tears. He knew right then that this cheese shop would be his home for all his days.

And so it was!
