Amazing! Makes me want to watch the original trilogy to see if Vader mutters "Baby Ruth" in the stylings of a severely-affected asthmatic. I'm easily considering this.
the concept is well executed especially who the the helmet is also deformed (that made me laugh) but it still has the problem i have with most star wars parody shirts, its to simple by mashing two things together. maybe if it had the rest of the cast of the goonies in a star wars fashion
I bet some where, this shirt offends some one... i want to meet that person, and hurt them. This shirt is as close to pure genius and divinity as i think any of us will get in our life times. I'm going to buy 7. I'd say for each day of the week, but i dont change my clothes that often.
Yesterday's shirt had a pun, a clever combining of two completely separate characters, and an appealing color scheme. Today, another black/white shirt with a man in a costume. Both movies were awesome, but it just doesn't pop for me. To each his own.
A mash-up of to things that I think are awesome, yet I don't like it. This seems to happen too often. I've had it up to here with the pop culture mash-ups TeeFury hasn't offered a shirt that I would buy in months. Normally, I will protest simply by not buying the shirt. However, that isn't working. I've gone from buying a few shirts a month to not buying any shirts for a few months. Enough with the humor already. Not everyone likes being laughed at and pointed at by strangers. Please TeeFury, start making cool shirts again. I'd like to give you more of my money.
I LOL:ed, not a buy for me though. There´s almost zero exposure to Goonies in my part of the world (though on my own account I must have watched the movie dozens of times as a kid), no one would get this.
I´d buy the first side-art, just because Alex is my name.
Seems I'm with the majority here. The shirt is a miss. Definitely good side art, talentwise, but black shirts and star wars are getting reeeeeaaaaalllll old. We all like SW, but there's no reason to have different SW shirts for every day of the week
The only thing that would make this worth while is the fact that the head gear is warped to fit! (nicely played)
Your other work is rendered very well. I think the ball was dropped on this. It feels thrown together. And please don't get me wrong, I love pop tees, but we're really going to resort to haphazardly slapping two pop themes together? Would have made a lot more sense if SW was even mentioned in The Goonies.
Hi Everyone. Thanks for ALL your comments both good and bad. I appreciate them all and take them on board. The SW vs Goonies came to mind as I thought Sloth and Vader without a helmet looked kinda similar. I also, just thought it'd be fun to mash-up two of my fav movies. I have a bunch more in the pipe-line that you are going to love/hate too.
How about something thats NOT a parody for a change? Like some actual real Original artwork, not some character or show or movie that has already been done or made.
This seems like an engineered MashedPotato of stuff that a certain demographic feels compelled to own mostly out of brand loyalty. What I'm trying to say is, I don't think the end result makes sense or is remotely amusing.

isnt it obvious?!? this is sloth going to a star wars dress up party and he has been at the party for a while so has taken his helmet off. Chicks dig sloths until the ugly lights come on at 4am.
Love this shirt goonies is a classic funny i was just talking to friends wondering why they never made a sequal oh well still one of my fave movies from childhood
Where are you located? Watford, near London, in the UK
What's a day in the life of Sean like? Depends if I am working from home or in London. I work 3 days per week for a merch company called Backstreet International Merch. Generally I am on the computer by 10am checking emails, myspace and facebook. Then I spend the day mainly designing t-shirts, with the odd logo or CD design here and there. It's great, and I feel very privileged to work like this right now. It took many years of working every night and weekend with a full time job to get here, so I really do appreciate it. In the evening I like to play football (soccer), hang out with my girlfriend, and watch movies. And laugh a lot too. Having people that make you laugh is very important.
Do you own alot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite? I own shit loads. I have two large boxes full in a garage, a bin (trash) bag full in the back of my car, and 8 shelves full in my bedroom. I did an exhibition in London of all the art/design work I do, and I did my t-shirt history as part of it. In there I said my first ever metal shirt is my favourite. It is a Motley Crue shirt from 1990ish, that I got for Xmas one year. I wanted a Megadeth one, but my grandma picked up the wrong one. I also really cherish a glittery, sequined Metallica shirt I have, and a Gn'R/Metallica split shirt from their '92 tour (I got it on ebay).
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be? I love pizza, so I guess I'd have to say Pizza Express. It's a chain in the UK that do stone baked Italian pizzas. Yum. Have you ever had to get stitches? Any battle scars? I have lots of stitches. When I was younger I tended to get cut in accidents, and my brother used to brake bones. I have scars on my head, face, legs, arms, hands from various silly accidents. I went hedge jumping once, and I nearly impaled myself on a fence and have puncture marks all up my left leg from that. What an idiot!
Is there somewhere in the world that you'd like to be right now? I think I'd like to be in New York wandering the streets with my camera. That's a great place to be. I am planning a trip to Malta in August with my girlfriend, and I'd really like to be there chilling on the beach, surfing, going out for dinner and knocking-back cocktails.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? I'd get hammered drunk at a party with all my friends and family, travel the world, pay off my mortgage, and open a shop that sold cool things like t-shirts, music, toys and other knick-knacks. And pump some money into my own clothing lines.
Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years with your art career or other? I'd like to be working with some of my favourite bands and running that knick-knack shop, with a family to go home to at the end of the day.
MAC or PC? Mac. No question. I have no idea how to use a PC.

Any shout outs? Yeah, quite a few. Mum for being mum, dad for getting me into graphic design, Ben for being my bro, Charlotte for being beautiful & fun, Backstreet for being the best employers/people, Mumford for making me carry on with Tidy Ink (even though you didn't know it) and both my grandads for various reason.
