I can't claim a specific climactic event has led me onto my current trajectory, but my commitment to the craft was solidified in late high school, upon the realisation that creatively expressing my own ideas across varied media, provided the opportunity to communicate, tell stories and produce tangible experiences for other people.

What inspires you?

At an essential level – people. The shared experience of being human – co-existence with others in society, the endless mission of survival through defining and projecting ourselves, whilst navigating the world through social interaction, the act of self invention and the constant burden of interpretation.

Question. Research. Question. Research. Repeat until a clear goal and medium is defined – then get out the pens and pencils. Create more solutions than you need, select the best, then refine, present, test and repeat until satisfaction is achieved.

Regardless of the form, every new work is an opportunity, use it – experiment and challenge yourself – someone else is paying you to do it.
