Really like the shirt, Tetris is excellent!

My only complaint is the slightly noticeable black lines around some of the blocks but not on others. Still great design, Congrats on the print!

It's not a rip, it's a common idea though. Reece's has been around for a long time on RedBubble (and featured in the side art here!), so it's definitely not based on the Teextile one.

the design is very clever but i think it needed to be polished up a bit more. As someone above said the slight black gaps in between certain blocks look odd when others line up perfectly. Also some of the rows are crooked here and there. Nonetheless a good print and hope it sells well as it is a good idea

I also like the concept. But the Tetris player in me would hate myself if I got that shirt since I play better than that. The two pieces on the top should be on the other side for a better fit. And that full row should be gone.

PS-I love LOVE Tetris! Once I was supposed to hang out with my friend and ended up not because I played Tetris on the DS all night. :) It wasn't a full waste of time though, I got a new high score! (I could have kept playing, but I decided to call it a night.)

Its a great idea, but executed poorly. I really like the background, but the full line bothers me, as well as the two tetris blocks in the air, that doesn't happen... Also, some aren't lined up that well, you know photoshop has a grid? Polish it up and show it off again, I'll buy it if you fix these things

It doesn't quite seem to flow for me. The tower cranes do not seem to mesh with the tetris blocks as well as I'd like to for a buy. Good concept, I just think there was a better way to pull it off. The two parts of this design don't match up for me color wise and essentially style wise. The cranes are in a black and white, almost grungy look, while the tetris blocks are in full color. It just seems kinda off to me. Hope this helps. Congrats on the print.

My problem with the shirt is that it doesn't look like the cranes are actually placing the blocks. It looks like a photo of cranes. And then a second layer of blocks on top of the first. No cohesion.

Love, love, love the Tetris shirt, especially because it's one of my favorite games, but also for the fact that it looks like a skyline. I'm also a big fan of the cassette tape one on the side. I would definitely wear both! :)

This design is okay but, as Cajun explained so well, it could have been executed better. I would buy the tape tee in a heartbeat though.

Good design! However, this is not a shirt for me for two valid reasons! The shirt is black, and I don't have a "close relationship" with tetris. Wouldn't kill me if it came with a grab-bag, though!

Rly liked the "Only dance if the music is good" shirt, but it's not a instant buy, more of a "sleep-on desition".

The concept is good, but in my opinion the realization is not very well-executed. The blocks itself look nice, but the uneven spaces between them are disturbing.
And the tower cranes seem to be quickly filtered in Photoshop which gives them a kinda grungy feel that doesn't harmonize with the very clear blocks.
It's more like two different designs slapped onto each other.
I hope this didn't sound too harsh. If the artist put in a little more hours of work into this (maybe drawing the cranes by hand, even if this may take a lot of time) and draw the elements in a similar style it would work out very well.
And I have to say, I like the tape design as well. Keep it up! :)

I LOVE this! I'm a total Tetris addict and I love the concept of using the Tetronimos for buildings. The only problem I have with the design is that some of the areas between the blocks are thicker than others. I don't think anyone would notice when seeing someone wearing the shirt, but it's quite noticeable in the mockup.

my hubby was a crane mechanic. He says all those cranes are made by Liebherr. He assures me that despite the holes in the foundation, it`s a solid build.

What's been happening since R2D2 Manual and Super Wash? I've been real busy designing t-shirts, plenty of exciting things in the pipeline. I can't tell you too much now. But I think It's all thanks to my appearance on Teefury.com. So thank you Teefury. Watch this space!.

Have you seen any good movies lately? Yes! loads, I'm a real movie buff. Zombieland was great, (the Bill Murray scene is genius). And I'm loving all the 3d stuff.
I'm a grow man but, one particular 3D scene, I screamed really load (When no one else did). It just caught me unawares. Everyone in the cinema looked round at me in total disgust.

What's a day in the life of Reece like?
I think I'm like most t-shirt designers. I get no satisfaction, praise, or reward for my efforts as a graphic designer. so I design t-shirts. I design t-shirts to relieve my creativity and get a little something back. If it wasn't for t-shirts - I don't know what I'd be doing - They keep me sane.

How did you get into art?
I don't know to be honest, all my family and brothers are trades men. I'm the black sheep. The runt of the litter. The one they kept in the cellar and fed through a hatch in the door, with just a cockroach and spider for company.

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Keep at it! If you think you have talent - you probably do. It's just the people that employ you, who like to keep you in your place. They are probably not creatively minded and don't come from a creative background. Most people in our trade are money chasers from the 80's.

Thank you! If you bought any of my t-shirts. Keep hold of them. One day I'll be dead and they might be worth something (posthumous)... or cut them up and use has dusters for cleaning. I'm now going to blubber like Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars, as I walk away with my award.
