The shirt is cute, but the artist made a couple mistakes. First, the descriptor for the panda should read "endangered," not "in extinction." Second, red pandas aren't bears. They're not even related to giant pandas. Thumbs up for the overall design and color scheme, though.

Overall, not a fan of the shirt... the typography is far to busy - kinda all over the place and a multitude of tiny stars really dosen't help anchor it any better. The bear faces could have some real personality bursting from them, but instead it's just a few small shapes barely making any discernable features, mostly repeated. If there is a joke or point of reference with the stars and the ratings, I'm missing it all together. Also I'm not Feeling the bears individual descriptions at all... They really make no sense and only seem to take away from the design by adding more to the mess... I do like the color choices, the have excellent contrast and create a visually pleasing balance.

*cuteness overload* I ... really don't know how to put into words the amazingness of this t-shirt. The font is so eye-catching, each bear has their own little personality...gaaah! Can't stand it! I couldn't possibly pass this up for any reason.

hmmm think the extinction was humor due to the in also might of been a reference to how close they are to extinction they are and red panda is a PANDA there for honorary bear.

Like more elegant, then subjects: dragon, cat, venus fly trap, optical illusions that I can wear to give people headaches, vikings, pirates, flowers, tree, leafy greens, any torture devices?, monsters..... CHESHIRE CAT, zombies (yes I saw the chainsaw one), steam punk, for keeping it brief ALL cultural/traditional art, ninjas, geashias, ....... why did u need suggestions?

Giant Pandas are endangered (though they are bears, contrary to what some members said). Red Pandas are NOT bears. They belong to their own family, and are actually more similar to raccoons. And why is the black bear white? This shirt is just dumb.

I agree, though the Red Panda part is somewhat forgivable for me. Still, there's so much text and, as a girl, I don't need people up in my biz on the premise of reading my shirt. I do love that it's on red though :D

So ... do we just say we like the side art no matter what? Because I for one like the design of today's actual shirt 10x more than any of the side art.

I love the descriptions for the bears. The color scheme, however, doesn't work for me. Red is such a loud color; I think a simpler design or different colors paired with it would have been nicer. Of course, I'm not a designer. This be but my humble opinion.

Nice design, well thought out. Next time, you need a Chicago Bear... with just a quote saying "Daaaaaaaaaaaa Bears!" Alright, seriously though, great design and execution. Also, the "Don't Jump So High" in your portfolio... sickest design I've seen all year. The metallic sheen on the background looks awesome. Personally, I would have preferred that he kept his antlers, and the cloud was raining. Keep up the good work.

as a graphic designer I'm not too impressed (for it being a t-shirt design). too much type and not a very legible face :/ plus it kind of bothers me that the black bear is white and the red panda isn't red.... I understand why they're not, but I'm just crazy like that I guess. Definitely a fun illustration, just would like to see it pushed a little further.

I love bears and usually buy anything with bears on it but I think it would have been much more interesting if the artist had used sloth bears, sun bears, spectacled bears or asiatic black bears. All of these have interesting facial markings and hair, not as well known as the polar and the panda so they lend themselves to more creativity and ... Well, Hell EVERYONE uses pandas and polars. And Teddy Bears. Everybody. And as has been pointed out, the red panda is not a bear, its more closely related to the skunk or raccoon or weasel family(s). I would have wanted the shirt if I felt you actully put any effort into the actual art. Sorry.

Lol, Not to be a jerk or anything. But I think its pretty funny when people over react to a simple device used to keep Teefury clean. Just because we all know what the substitutions mean, doesn't mean its not important to censor out some of the more vulgar slang. Food for thought.

I like the design, but the descriptive text on the shirt just seems too random...sort of like an afterthought. If it were just the bears, it would be way adorable and a buy for sure!

This design is not suited for a tee shirt - a poster or a print, maybe. There's far too much text, it's graphically confusing and requires the viewer to stare at it for longer than is socially acceptable to stare at someones chest in order to take it all in. Red and yellow is a brave colour combination but limits the appeal to many as those colours are very extreme against several skin tones. Furthermore, I don't get the joke... or is it just meant to be cute?

The crow kings in the sideart section, on the other hand, would make an excellent tee shirt design: arresting composition, graphically clean and simple with subject matter that appeals to many.

You can't please everyone but I think that the bear tee is a fail overall.

Tell us the background of this design.
I was with my seven brothers having some sushi and they said ‘you shoud do a tee with all kinds of bears in the whole world’ and I said ‘sure’.

Where are you from?
I live in a cave in the middle of nowhere.

What has been your most adventurous moment?
Last week I was out to hunt some deers, but I just found lions and I thought ‘why not? lions are delicious too". But you know, they look very angry. So I just passed by them and they gave me some of their zebras and all that stuff.

What has been the most valuable advice you've been given?
Don’t trust hyenas.

If you had a theme song, what would it be?
It's called Beard Song from Sophie Madelaine.

Do you prefer cupcakes, cookies, or brownies?
I've never stopped to think about it... I just eat about 10 of each, each and every time.

Hang-gliding vs. parachuting: which would win the battle?
Parachuting. Hang-gliding doesn't make any sense - it looks like a flying sleeping bag. (Is there a t-shirt idea here? :{D)

Describe the strangest shirt you own.
I just wear pajamas. :/

What would be your dream project to work on?
Sleep by one week without any interruption.
