i know a lotttt of pug owners that are going to LOVE this tee.
and i love your style olechka, already been a fan for a while on facebook! your art is beautiful, and im diggin the hell out of that walken print. soooooo freakin cool!
im always excited to see you getting printed by teefury, and of course this was curated by jimiyo, you guys are like best best buddies :P
i hate dogs so freakin much its crazy! but fabulous art and i would have bought that cat side art. i'm a future old cat man my friends make fun of me all time.
I love the pug! I was the lucky winner of her House prints - they are phenomenal!!! I get so many compliments when I wear the House shirt, having the prints is absolutely wonderful! I am in the process of framing them and making an art collage on the wall of my sewing room. :) Thank you, thank you!!!
You really are a very talented artist, and this is another stunning work. If it were a dog breed I liked, I'd probably get it, but pugs just bother me. Still, way to do a great job of making them less annoying. =b
Pugs creep me out.
The artwork on this is brilliant though.
First two side arts have got to be printed ASAP.
I need them.
Right now.
Haha =]
Congrats on the print!
Yorick_Brown said: they say this shirt is gone forever after today, but you can buy it by clicking on the link to her profile, can someone explain the process to me?
The $9 TeeFury screenprint of this design is gone forever after today. Artists still own the rights to their artwork and can make it available elsewhere, as this artist has done at RedBubble (a site that prints Direct to Garment, like CafePress and Zazzle).
I appreciate the detail that went into the drawing, and I like the pencil line style of the drawing and the realistic effect. Olechka is a very skilled portrait artist, without question. But, wearing a drawing of a pug on a shirt, no matter how artistically drawn, is way too close to being one of those people who wears tee shirts with pictures of kittens playing with balls of yarn. This one's not for me, I guess I need a little more edge to my shirts.
I'm one of the proud owners of your House zombified (prints of Dr House and Dr Cameron) that I won from TeeFury. I'll be quite honest, they freak me out a little. Well drawn but house looks friggin intense.
love love love this! I suggested that you draw a pug and then watched you do it! so glad to see him here at teefury. this will be my 4th piece of Olechka Art :)
Glad you got the print! For those who like the side art, have your mind blown even more away and check out the portfolio. I also must throw out a plug for her stuff for sale on redbubble!
http://www.redbubble.com/people/olechka
By the way OLECHKA, I would love to see your interpretations of portraits of characters of the series Breaking Bad! (if you haven't watched that show, do it now!).
This is really, really, really nice. Your artwork is amazing, and I hope you are able to continue and achieve the success (however you define it) you deserve.
It's kind of sad to have to say how remarkably refreshing it is to see beautifully rendered artwork like this on this site.
Seems so painfully rare...so many dime a dozen video game or pop culture inside jokes with disposable and forgettable art.
Getting back to this piece, In reality though, aren't this breed's eyes even more bug-eyed and CaptainKirk-eyed? I mean, if you were actually looking directly into one's face like this would both of the eyes actually be facing perfectly forward as they are portrayed?
Anyway, one thing I can say with absolute certainty: this site needs more cowbells.

How does the Tofurkey word-filter replacing the word "c.o.c.k." with "CaptainKirk" make any sense whatsoever? Because he's so c.o.c.k.y or dickish, or is he packing some serious trouser meat that sets all the female phasers to stunned?
beautiful pug your rendering abilities are well above most i really love your line quality not to mention all of your other work...btw why didnt we get a dexter shirt i would of bought them all....i just dont think i could buy this shirt though....kinda reminds me of something my grandma would wear if she was a crazy pug lady....maybe ill buy one for her and turn her into one...
Don't get me wrong, I love Olechka's work (and this is amazing, of course!), but this just reminds me of one of those shirts you would get in one of those touristy gift shops that carries magnets, mugs, and t-shirts of all the popular dog breeds. :(
great artwork, not really feeling it as a tee, this is more a ladies shirt for sure. but side art is freaking great. walken is terrific - only thing off on it is the hand. Moreso, the outline of the hand looks too straighta nd smooth, I would say it needs some contour and more shape. but awesome stuff!
Not a Dog-on-a-T kind of guy...and I would like to echo the "gone forever" thought about being able to purchase this T-shirt at the artists web site. Somewhat disturbing.
BIG HOWEVER HERE...the "art works" and "works of art" at the site are incredible. I saw many images in the doodles/sketches section that I would absolutely drop $11 in a heart beat to purchase on a, say dark gray shirt. Stunningly brilliant.
I think for me it's lacking colour. With the shirt being gray itself and then black it's not really noticeable.. The Lady Pugaga one was much more up my street. Great artwork though! :)
Awesome, purchased. This seems like it was chosen just for all the people who complained about the Lady Pugaga shirt and said "I wish it was just a pug."
matt2kool said: love love love this! I suggested that you draw a pug and then watched you do it! so glad to see him here at teefury. this will be my 4th piece of Olechka Art :)
Not personally for me, but the artwork is amazingly done. I'd love to see some of your work injected with a bit of humour, adding unexpected elements or blatant edits (think Philip Tseng) "photoshopped" over the top of it.
Deleted: We appreciate your participation in our community, but your accusations are untrue, and not beneficial to the atmosphere we want to create around here.
Great artwork, sure, but whose idea was it to put a pug on a tshirt? Honestly, i mean... when will that EVER be cool? People aren't going to appreciate the artwork of the pug on the shirt, they'll be like... she's wearing a shirt with a pug on it. And if i were wearing it, i'd be like "IT'S ABOUT THE ART!" but someone would probably throw a slurpee in my face. So, great art, but never on a shirt for me.
Wowzers you have a real talent! This is great! I'm not gonna buy it, but it's really well drawn and the detail is stunning. What an accomplishment!! (: Can't wait to see what you draw next! By the way, your side art is to die for.
don't comment on things when you don't know what you're talking about. this was not traced. I watched her draw the entire thing from a blank piece of paper to the amazing piece of artwork you see at the top. it's called using a reference image. tons of artists do it and will continue to do it for the rest of time. have you ever drawn something without looking at it first? pretty impossible to do.
Trace smace, so what. That is one serious pug. Guess what, almost all these designs start from an object/moch up that is then scanned and traced via programs like illustrator / photoshop and such. This designer has obvious talent and before anyone begins to criticize based on procedure maybe it would help to check out what is standard for the industry.
We are here to for our love of T-shirts and purchasing them so thank you to Olechka and Teefury for fabulous T-shirt. Especially one that can speak to the pet lover in us.
It's like someone took a picture of my pug. I love it! And to all you pug haters out there. They are the most awesome dogs ever. They are so ugly they are cute.
Unfortunately, I'm not really a pug lover.. Kittahs, yes :)
I took a look over your portfolio and really just wanted to say that your artwork is amazing! Unbelievable! Remarkable! WOW! I'm totally impressed! I could never do anything like that. Great job!!
Looking at the side art I think this was clearly drawn by hand from scratch and that was probably used as a reference image. I do it too, so what? I think it's a very good piece of drawing...
..Just not for a tshirt :)
To the people attacking the artist: Even though they look very similar there are many, many subtle differences from proportions to angles to areas of different places. Which you can see if you actually look. But I guess you didn't. It's clearly not a trace.

I would have bought it if it had the words "PUG LYFE" on it. Right now it's too much to explain to people. As far as msot people know you're walking around with a pug on your shirt like some aged soccer-mom pug enthusiast who crochets sweaters and organizes church events.
matt2kool said:
and just in case you haven't seen mine...Oliver!
I am not a fan of pugs FOR ME but Oliver is really dang cute! Is he the model for this shirt, Matt?
And Olechka did one hell of a job. I cannot draw but I can appreciate the time & energy and concentration it took her to draw this. Fine line drawings are hard. Lisa Cuddy is awesome.
If I had some money, I'd honestly get this shirt. It's so damned cool! She does great work with awesome details. Look at the individual hairs on the pug, on Dr. Cuddy, on Walken. The lines around Walken's eyes are totally realistic. KUDOS!!

I have to agree. I come to TeeFury for something cool and individual. It's a fantastic piece of art don't get me wrong, but personally I would never have print of any animal on my wall, let alone have one on a T-Shirt. I feel a bit let down by TeeFury as this isn't the type of thing I'd expect to see here. I don’t mean to offend anyone, if you love this shirt, that’s great. All the power to you, but it’s just not for me. I’m hoping tomorrows Tee will be something more in line with what I’ve come to expect and love about TeeFury.
However, Pugs make me want to scream; not in a good way scream. Infuriating little dogs; I might be able to handle them if they were the size of a real dog (as small dogs annoy the hell out of me), but I seriously doubt it as pugs tend to have I-am-superior-than-you attitudes.
It's a brilliant drawing, but it couldn't be further from what t-shirt design I would wear myself..... but I guess that's the beauty of tee fury, something else tomorrow!
WHY????? Why couldn't this have been made available a week or so ago?? :( I want this. I saw it somewhere else but can't remember... and I wanted it. If I had not just gotten laid off of from work this past Friday, I'd get this. Booo to having no more income. :(
Pugs are ugly cute. One of the many reasons I love them. Their personalities are the best. Amazing detail and artwork!!! I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I could! :)
You may recognize Olechka's work. She participated in our Friend of the Fury giveaway recently by donating her House MD Zombified prints. Going through her new work I noticed this cute little pug. Teefurians always seem have to had a place for pugs so here you go Pug Fans!
Where are you?
Seattle, Washington.
Have you always lived there?
I grew up in Vinnitsa, Ukraine until the age of 10. The weather is similar to Seattle. They have no bananas there.
Tell us about the design.
I think pugs are ugly cute and thought it would be fun to draw one. I Ustreamed the creation of the drawing which took about 4-5 hours. Some of the Teefury members were there watching!
If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be?
Tasty Thai
Do you have any art projects you are working on?
I like to draw portraits so I do one almost every week. My latest project was the characters from House made into zombies, rendering of characters from the show Dexter, and I've also been working to update my online portfolio.
If someone wanted to follow your work, where are you usually located on the net?
