Wow, I don't care if I haven't seen a single episode of L O S T, this piece is an aesthetically pleasing work of art! I'm sure that it would have much more significance if I knew what it was a reference to, but the design tells its own story, and I dig that. Overall, it's really neat and I think it'd look great printed. I won't be buying since I don't want to be a poser, so I hope those who do purchase post pictures in the forum :)

Cool design, but a little too contained within a rectangle. Don't really get it but i like the grunge effect. The 5th shirt down with the camera is AWESOME though! Please print that with the fade!

So very much not a Lost fan. Still, if this didn't have the word at the bottom, would probably have bought it, simply because it reminds me of the explosion of Eyjafjallajokull (and yes, I had to look up the spelling on that).
Still and all, taken as a whole, I do like the design. The very simple colours and outlines work, and I very much like the distressed look to the image.

I suppose I'd have to watch L O S T to understand this. I like the different textures of it though. There's such a large amount of empty space in the red and gray, so the textures help break it up so it doesn't seem so bold. Leads the eye to the right spots. At least, I think so. I'm starting to feel left out, however. Perhaps I should watch the show.

I noticed this tee teased in the email I got this afternoon, and I got really excited. I've been buying most of the L O S T shirts I've been seeing, but I can't rightfully purchase this one. I feel like anyone who doesnt watch LOST, would think I am making some statement about.... well you know. I absolutely love the style, colors, and design, but can't get over the "bottle." Maybe I'm just too immature...
Perhaps in my later remorse over not buying this tee I will end up getting it in a Grab Bag purchase. I will be wearing my "Wrong Island" tee tomorrow!

Absolutely love the design. It means so much more to me since I am guilty of following the LOST saga. With the series ending on the 23rd, I'm loving how each of the past LOST shirts have incorporated the final season. Now I can get a recap of the show just be wearing some teefury shirts in chronological order.

Something about the design really reminds me of modern day pop culture, like Shepard Ferry's wall murals. It's very bold and graphic novel-esque. I think a lot of movies like Inglorious Basterds, V for Vandetta and Repo! The Genetic Opera. It's great that you can use a simple color scheme to bring out more intense designs. Not everyone has that capability. I want to hang this shirt on my wall!

I like lost and this design, but I'm not so hot on how the image shows up on the shirt. At the bottom it almost fades into the gray, but at the top it's much too abrupt. It's like someone stamped a big box on the shirt. It just doesnt feel... cohesive.

It took me a minute to GET this shirt (forgot about the episode title and had to look it up), but once I did I fell in deep love lol. Still very much hoping for that Desmond shirt in the Barack red and blue color scheme with either "Brother", "Brotha", or even "Constant" as in the original side art image we saw...and I had another idea (the Hurley "Dude" one was mine =) for a Jacob shirt with "Progress" for the text. I feel like there should be a Jin and Sun shirt too, but no idea what it would look like. Can't believe this epic story ends in less than two weeks, truly depressing...

Oh my gosh!!! I have been in love with this artwork since M. Brady Clark first sold it as a print. He took one of the greatest analogies from one of the best episodes, of one of the greatest shows ever to be on television, and made it into one of the most fantastic pieces of fan art I have ever seen! It just ties together everything about the show, everything from seasons 1 through 6 so perfectly. There's just so much meaning behind it so, for me, this was a DEFINITE buy.

... and after buying 4 t-shirts, 3 of them LOST related, I decided it was probably about time I joined the fury * hee hee * And if you are a LOST fan, I highly recommend the F*ck Yeah LOST website as well.

Def the wrong color for this shirt.

If a t shirt design has to be printed in a "box" you either are printing on the wrong color or your design is not a ideal t shirt design.

Just because the theme is popular and the art is well done does not mean you should print a design like this.

I've never been a fan of blocky designs on shirts, but I do like the grunge and the round bit breaking out of the box at the bottom- they get rid of some of the box's harshness. I think it looks nice, but not something I'd wear. I also have no idea what it means.

I just have to say that I find it highly disturbing how rabid the fans of this show are. To say that it is the "greatest television show in the known history of mankind" and other statements like that week after week just boggles my mind. No it isn't. Maybe it is your favorite, but it isn't the greatest show ever.

"Everyone has their own opinions and likes different things but I wish (and this goes for just about anything) that people would actually watch it and give it a chance before deciding that they don't care for it" - What makes you think that people haven't watched it before they say they don't care for it? I watched all of Season 1 and some of season 2 before I just said to myself this is too confusing and its smurf and stopped watching. It was an informed decision. I think most that say they don't care for it have watched it and made the decision they don't care for it.

Since I made the decision I don't care for the show, I will not be purchasing this shirt. As many others have stated, I don't care for the boxiness of the design also.

Mr. Clark is a talented designer. I really like the poster he did for Johnny Cupcakes Los Angeles store's First Anniversary.

I don't know about everyone else, but it seems to me that some of these Loooooooooooost shirts are just a bit too cliche. This one is just a nice design and even though I don't get it I think it looks nice and is attractive. Some of the others are just confusing and have me scratching my head. I would never wear those. My advise is to keep the ideas simple like this one with an attractive design for all to enjoy.

Those who are complaining about LOST, don't fret -- it's over May 23rd. So I assume LOST shirts here on TeeFury will slow down to no more than 2 a month...

My guess is that they have a lot of LOST shirts on the site because LOST fans buy LOST shirts at a rate higher than that of random people buying random shirts. (This is a guess. This is only a guess.)

I just now fully realized what the design really is after taking a look at it a few times. It looked like some kind of volcano at first or something lol.

Basically, the island is a cork, keeping the "smoke monster" in. The island pulls in the plane, due to the electromagnets....? So that's what those white dots are...but yeah it's pretty clever.

I should really watch Lost... Good thing summer is coming up; season 1, watch out.

Interesting shirt though. Caught my eye while I was viewing daily shirts at teemagnet.com and that's how I got here. At first I thought it has to do with global warming because I didn't know it has to do with Lost at first glance. I saw snippets of Lost while I was in my freshman year, and enough to kind of understand the main plot, and I agree with the others how they think this design relates to Lost.

Awesome design either way. Kinda abstract but I like it. c:

I really enjoy the color scheme and worn look to this design. Even the way it fades into the shirt at the bottom is wonderful. :)

Though this doesn't have much to do with the design, the way the plane is breaking vaguely reminiscent of the game "Asteroids". :) I enjoy it quite a lot. My roommate wants one, ad she's not even a LOST fan!

As I said previously, I think this artist had some real talent! Even the sideart is brilliant! I really do enjoy his style; I hope to see more from this artist!

Ok I am quite a little bit confused.

I thought it is Lost Tuesday. But some of you are talking about Gossip Girl. I neither watch Lost nor Gossip Girl, so I can't tell.

For me it also could be a shirt refering to the vulcano on Iceland, that prevented the aircrafts from flying the last weeks.

I've come to peace with the fact that the L ost shirts won't go away. I think there are plenty of other cool shows out there that could get attention on Tuesdays, too, but obviously L ost makes the most money.

Putting that aside, I really dislike this design. First of all, it really does not look good on the white or cream shirts. Second, giant rectangular designs on T-shirts rarely look good, and in order to pull that off, the entire space needs to be used. There is a whole lot of nothing going on in that giant space. Plus, if you're a girl, you look like you have a robot torso.

This design is so great. It's as if it is a mural that has been peeled from the NYC cityscape and placed onto fabric; it's the sort of thing that deserves a double take. Also, I really love the way the artist used a bit of pointillism to give the design a bit of a worn and dimensional feel, while still in 2-d form. The removal of color as opposed to the addition of color to suggest shadowing is a very appealing style, in my opinion.

I can't wait to wear this one! I'm a very pale person, and therefor do not buy light shirts very often, but there's no way I'm passing this one up. :)

Like a french Prius MMMMMmeow. Loved the print... the shirt is cool and still a buy purly for the awwesum artwork and Gossip Girl ref but the small boxyness is like a dagger in right in the left chestical.

Yep. This is going to be the first shirt I buy on Teefury. I love the design, colors, and the premise behind it. It looks like an old vintage poster for a movie. A lot of his work does. I love it. It makes me want to take a pop up camper to Yellowstone park with the family. I love it.

L o s t-Fury is getting a little l o s t and cought up in this l o s t sense of coolness that is L o s t pop culture. If only the scteefurycopy was l o s t so we didn't have to keep seeing L o s t and how it has made all other prime time shows l o s t in the lower end of TV ratings. For all the haters of L o s t and people who lose things in general, the sales of this shirt will be l o s t. Fear not though, for one day L o s t will become l o s t in a series of collectible memorabilia among other late year 00's merchandise (which hopefully won't be all l o s t in some garage by then). I hope your guys' minds aren't l o s t so we can get some well deserved Gossip Girl tees in here. I'm beginning to think the entire series of L o s t was staged just so it can make peoples minds go l o s t and rage about how they have l o s t the battle against rabid fanbases. I really have no idea what this Tee is about, (I don't watch Lost) but I really like the style of the main print. I love Love love the Top Side art. Bacon... also the 2nd one up from the bottom looks like Mr. Bump from Mr. Men.... I would definitely buy either one of those.

I really like today's shirt, I am not a lost fan, and that will keep me from buying it, but I love the way it looks like a Beaker in the ground. The coloring was chosen Very well. I liked this as a Print when Niku posted it yesterday in the forum.

Really nice design and one of the better Lost-related fan shirts I've seen. It works well as design even apart from its TV-show heritage. The colors are perfect, which is not surprising: after looking through Brady Clark's portfolio site, the man has a great sense of color as a design element. Uhm... I'm not sold on it but it's mostly because of the shirt color.

The actual illustration is quite nice IMO. I love the mix of color and texture. It did take me a long time to understand it was the wine bottle :)

Well, this is the first time I've ever "posted" a comment here before, but I just wanted to say that, being just your average, run-of-the-mill guy, I have been considerably impressed with the quality of the art and the immense creativity expressed through so many people in so many ways. Some of the designs just blow my mind with the amount of skill but also the amazing things and ideas and designs that you all have come up with. "Truly amazing" just doesn't seem to cut it.

Cork taint is a broad term referring to a wine fault characterized by a set of undesirable smells or tastes found in a bottle of wine, especially spoilage that can only be detected after bottling, aging and opening. Cork taint can affect wines irrespective of price and quality level.

The chief cause of cork taint is the presence of 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, & 42 trichloroanisole (TCA) in the wine, which in many cases will have been transferred from the cork, but which also can have been transferred through the cork rather than from it. Corked wine containing TCA has a characteristic odor, variously described as resembling a moldy newspaper, wet dog, damp cloth, or damp basement. In almost all cases of corked wine the wine's native aromas are reduced significantly, and a very tainted wine is quite unpalatable, although harmless. While the human threshold for detecting TCA is measured in the single-digit parts per trillion, this can vary by several orders of magnitude depending on an individual's sensitivity. Detection is also complicated by the olfactory system's particularly quick habituation to TCA, making the smell less obvious on each subsequent sniff.

So true. I do not own a set of boobs, but I to have a problem with squares on a tee. In my opinion this tee could have been saved by a colored tee matching the art. make it blend in more so that the square shape doesn't stand out to much.

Awesome, awesome awesome imagery. I love this guy's work with Pixar and this is one of his best to date.

However, I feel the print on the shirt is a little too... blocky? I wish the shirt was the same color as the sky in the image, and then you could have the red kind of fade into the shirt color to give it less of a copy-and-paste effect. It's a minor complaint, but it does detract from such an impeccable work of interpretative graphic design.

I love LOST Tee's! This one definitely takes the cake though. I like the simplicity of the design. I also like the "Ab Aeterno" (From the Beginning) at the bottom, referencing to the episode and the position. Favorite part of that episode was the whole Heinz Dilemma reference.

Side art is awesome as well. Love the art. Keep up the awesome work!

I have to be honest...this looks like a giant CaptainKirk to me.

But then again, I haven't been watching Lost lately. I was a huge fan until about season 4, and then I didn't really lose interest in the show, I just stopped watching a lot of TV. :( I wanted to watch this season but I was behind, so I figured I'd just wait 'til later. *shrug* Oh well.

The shirt IS wonderfully done though. I really love the side art too, it reminds me of Bioshock art, like 50s-60s pop advertisement art. Very cool and awesome. :)

This is amazing. This is an incredibly simple design. And as the artist will understand, saying simple when it comes to art is a huge compliment. To convey such complete ideas with such a basic idea is truly inspiring. Besides being beautiful and whole outside of its Lost meaning. I think the design works all by itself. Again, truly amazing stuff.

LOST has always been an important show to me, i don't know why but i have religiously watched it since day one! 4 Years and i have always turned off my mobile, dimmed down the lights and made a coffee to watch the latest episode! I will be so sad when it finishes!

I'm not a follower of the show, but I really like this shirt for some reason. Like explosionsboom said, it's just really nice and simple - and I like the vintage look.
Also, for some reason it reminds me of the recent oil spill crisis - it looks kind of like it's an oil well with something stuck in it, kind of like what they've been doing to try and stop the leak by putting a dome on it. It's kind of topical, even though I know it specifically has to do with THAT SHOW. I may just get this one... boy, all of my money seems to go to TeeFury lately... yikes. Dangerous for my GalacticTreasury account, but it makes me happy at least!

I really want the shades, like really really want it and would be very greatfull if i actually do get."BUT" i know this is not a quality comment and i have to kiss a**. "But" again unfortunately i'm not going to, "but" instead i'll be honest about tee fury. You guys are awesome (not kissing ass "YET"), shipment took exactly the time it needed and my worry driven email sent to you guys was answered with all clarity and was very calming. However, i thought it would be delivered to door step which wasn't but yeah, whatever, its good that it reached in time at least. Quality was satisfying but slim fit (or at least fitting and of shorter sleeve) shirts would be an awesome idea to add as this is the fashion trend nowadays. Apart from that this site is doing pretty good and i really do hope i win those shades because i haven't ever won anything in real life, nor on-line and even better am actually winning something really cool and unique.
