look! in the sky! its a zebra...its a hippo...its a zebropotamus?

i love the colours used in this design, and the way it contrasts with the colour of the blank. this design is very simple and clean, and i think thats what is my favourite part....other than being completely hilarious and random. sooooo random.

i can just see someone drunk at a party looking at this shirt, and then having to give it a double take, and then stumble away thinking "wow i must be really drunk"... i would wear this tee for that hilarious reason alone, just to mess with people.

great job on the design nick, and congrats on the print. i hope it sells well, its very funny! the name of this design could of totally been "ZIPPO", but i think "HUH" fits it very well.. two thumbs up from niku.

p.s. the little birdie on top that is SUPER confused is an amazing touch, and makes this for me. WIN!

I love the colors too! At first it took me a moment that there was something wrong with the hippo. I like the contrast of the turquoise and blue so much it took me a few seconds before I realized why the bird had the question mark on its head. :)

Just an all-around THIS IS FABULOUS!!! Bought! The side art is awesome as well. The octopus would be bought by me in an instant!! I have one being inked on my right shoulder so I'm a sucker (no pun intended). They are all fabulous!

This design is really cool. I love the colors, but I (like many others) kind of missed the little bird at first because it blends too much into the shirt color. Either way, I really like the concept. Unfortunately, I won't be able to afford this one for now though :(

I like the concept and colors of this very much, and would probably get it if there was less butt and it wasn't on navy (i don't do well in navy shirts). Oh, and i love the little bird! it's like a little piece of hidden treasure, and when you notice it the shirt just becomes that much better. Where are you located?
Just South of Sydney, Oz.

What's a day in the life of Nick like?
Usually consists of eating, drinking, drawing, skateboarding, working, photography and mucking around on Illustrator/lurking forums ..... amount of time doing each varies, depending on the weather. But i feel all this going to change, as we are expecting our first rugrat!

What do you do for a living?
A bit of freelance design here and there (not enough!), always looking for that 'perfect job' and also work casually at the local Drive-thru Bottleshop.

Do you own alot of shirts? If so, what's your favourite?
Sure do! Massive TeeHead! Geez ... pick one? It'd have to be a tie for fav between Chris Wahl's 'DedTedHed' and Scott Robinson's 'Screaming Cybernetics'.

What inspires you?
People doing what they do ... for the love of it and Leo, my cat.

If you could go only to one restaurant for the next five years, Which would it be?
Italian. Definitely.

Have you ever had to get stitches? Any battle scars?
Yes. All four limbs are peppered with scabs, scars and scar tissue! Skin lose is a weekly occurance, i've learnt to accept it and now greet each mishap with open arms. Skateboarding. God love it.

What would the you of now, tell the you of 10 years ago?
Stop smoking. NOW! .... and draw more ....... and leave this job. NOW! Hindsight sux.

What advice would you offer to aspiring artists?
Take your time. Don't rush it out. Make sure it's everything it could be.

MAC or PC?
Either or ..... preferably MAC, but i'm putting up with a crappy PC at the moment.

Any shout outs?
Scott Robinson, Rubyred, Simon Sherry and all the crew at GoK, Pip Gerard, Damien Mason, Naf4D, Rhys McDonald and all the other rad people at Redbubble that inspire me on daily basis.
