Where are you located?
In the jungle, the mighty jungle... the biggest manmade forest in the world - Johannesburg, South Africa.

All I know about soccer and South Africa is from the movie Invictus. Is it huge over there?
Oh, good joke, Invictus was a rugby movie, and that was old South Africa. I'd say that District 9 is a better portrayal of modern South Africa - lots of aliens (Nigerians), Nigerians, and robots (for real, we call our traffic lights "robots").

Jokes aside, it's the most beautiful country ever. Every time something brings me down, I look up and sigh happily at our amazing skyscapes. It's also the most controversial place I know, and that just comes with how young the country is. It's probably how America was when it just came out of its fledgling days, minus the muskets and cannons.

What's a day in the life of Tuism like?
A typical day involves many absolute brain farts into my lovely HTC Hero, ready for either tee drawings or world domination. Some of my latest entries in my HTC notepad (which I call Ideator 2000, cos old-school is da rule) include stuff like "Viet-nom" and "Ironic Sharkstronaut".

Other component of my day include being acknowledged as a certifiable nutter by most of my colleagues. (and by advertising standards... I think that's at least par for the course)

Recently I've taken up some new responsibilities, sometimes the first thing I do is talk to corporates! Approve memos! Lead a workshop! Remember birthdays! Direct workflow! (not) My own bathroom! Micromanage! Promote synergy! ...

What have you been up to since Monster Chain back in January? Any new prints?

I've been REALLY way too busy at work for a decent amount of own-time to do the stuff I wanna do like "Viet-nom" and other non-star-wars-inspired ideas. I did have two prints though, Zombie Cat was picked up by woot and I created a design inspired by our own great Nelson Mandela.

I also created a Darth Wolf design for Tee-wolf, a new up-coming tees site which is due to launch on May 2nd (should have already as this one goes to press), which I myself really dig quite a lot.

Otherwise I've been butting heads with CSS and php and wordpress and all that DRY stuff, totally revamping http://Tuism.com. Pleas please please check it out - I put hours and hours of (wobbly) code in this - and I hope the love shows.
