A simple and direct style which is very engaging and doesn't require explanation. In short, your designs are the essence of good graphic design, especially when used in an environment where you have limited time to make a statement (i.e. a few seconds to view a stranger's tee shirt while walking down the street). The humor makes them friendly and attractive, and the fact that the subject matter isn't too culturally specific or text-based makes the designs almost universal.

Both of my cats sleep just like the cat on the shirt, draped over the backs of our computer chairs. O, and to prove that it is possible to get "cat scan" without animal cruelty:

All I did was open the scanner, put Dagron on top of it, and pet him until he flopped down. Then I stopped petting him and scanned. So cruel, amirite?

Silly play on words, "Copy cat" works as well. My cat was definitely an inspiration, he loves lying down like that and needs to lose a little weight.

Name a few of your favorite things.

Books, records, beer, video games, movies, my girl and my cat.

What inspires you?

I am usually either inspired by deadlines or extreme boredom.

How did you get into art?

I actually started by making shirts like this one. I do a lot of different things now, but shirts are still a ton of fun.

What would be your dream job?

The one I have right now, where I work for myself and do whatever I want. Though I guess it'd be nice to do that AND have a fixed paycheck for a lot of money.

What are a few of your favorite websites?

There's Drawn.ca, Behance.net. stashmedia.tv, boingboing.net, motionographer.com and a bunch of others. I also try to keep up with feeds from a ton of music blogs, and I love looking at random stuff on ffffound.
