Jimiyo has had many excellent prints at TeeFury... so many, in fact, that we've run out of interview questions for him!
So today, we're going to do something a little different. Instead of interviewing Jimiyo, the artist, we'll be interviewing one of TeeFury's most prolific members (and unofficial mascot), FuzzyLogic!
Hi FuzzyLogic! Your screenname is pretty rad, can you tell us about how you came up with it?
I was searching for a new screen name as people were just having such a hard time with "Taokemikal".
Not getting the pun. I've always like Fuzzy Wuzzy and like to believe I try to act logically. Plus, I'm fuzzy. *chuckle*
Also, crisp logic just sounded odd.
Have you always been a t-shirt connoisseur? How did you discover TeeFury?
Since the 70's. (Yes, I'm that old). As a kid, I couldn't get enough print T's. In the 80's I was mostly remembered for wearing a Tshirt that said ANIMAL in big letters. I discovered TeeFury off of a deal a day app that used to sit in my desktop tray.
What have been some of your favorite shirts so far?
Burrowish By Torakamikaze. Classy Bear by Jan Avendano, Lords of Cats by xiaobaosg, Owlnaut by valorandvellum and many others of course.
What would you like to see more of?
Sushi. Growlers full of Weiss Beer and more shirts by Crushem!
Your tattoos have made a bunch of appearances on TeeFury- can you tell us a story about one of your favorites?
My favorite tattoo is my first. It came about after reading "The Tao Of Pooh". After finishing that book,
I was so changed by the things it taught me, I felt it justified putting permanent meaning onto myself visually.
Are you an artist? What kind of art inspires you the most?
Extremely part time. That hobby has unfortunately taken a back seat to my love of computers and all things electronic. Tho, Since Jan 1, 2010 I've been changing this mentality and have been coming back into it. Slowly. As for inspiration, it's mostly colored pencil/pen artwork that really grabs me but digital artwork is really making a huge impact on my forward focus.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do with your epic winnings?
I'd move to a climate friendly place (Hate Humidity!), build a large eco/green house with lots of land and have several poll barns to use for artistic purposes. It would kind of be a commune for people I like and great friends to have the ability to focus on art and art education in the community. Oh. and buy some Alpacas! (Man I sound like a hippy)
Recommend some cool things TeeFurians should know about (music, art, whatever!).
