really love this design, and i like it on the white shirt, but i dunno if white looks good on me :/
id probably prefer it on a black shirt, but im not sure if the colour would pop as well on a darker tee. regardless, i love the design, and im sure others will too! not an instant buy for me, but if i got it in a grab bag, it would be a definite keep for me, and i would wear it proudly.

great job on the design marco and congrats on the print! i hope it does very well.

Interesting use of color juxtaposed upon a well recognized emblem. I initially grimaced at the asymmetry, and was trying to place where I had seen a color scheme like this before. It reminds me of infrared vision, where the thermal heat is pixelated in a red-blue-yellow palette. Perhaps the colors are picking up heat from the skull. And where there is heat, there is energy; and where there is energy, there is life. Life in or after death is my conclusion. Random enough for you?

Don't think I'd wear it, but it looks nice, maybe a little lacking in detail, lots of fun to be had manipulating the paint dribble affect for contours, I've done something like this in the past.

Darn you! I had promised myself I wasn't going to buy any more shirts for a while, that I had enough. Then you have to have a shirt like this, one which is designed to appeal directly to my personal aesthetics (pretty, but kinda creepy upon a second glance).

I think it's a wonderful piece of art, but it's still one more skull too many. I have the skull horse and rider, and it's the best I think the site has done in the skull genre. I would rather see those bright colors in something less morbid.

Ya, I got my fill of the skull, from the Grim Reapers Day Off shirt, or w/e with him looking at the obituaries, if its not near that in detail I can't justify it although I think a nicely detailed watercolor shirt may be a good idea.

In all honesty, I had no idea what this was until I read the comments and interview.
It kind of looks like a really Moldy Lemonhead.
In my opinion, it's mildly childish.
Then again, I'm not one for skulls or watercolors.

It is good to see a burst of bright colors though!

This shirt isn't for me, but I do hope other people enjoy it.

Although I did not shair the "moldy lemonhead" association when I saw this shirt I do have to agree with the "mildy childish" part of this comment (and yes, childish can be good, but I've been sick of skull shirts for quite a while...)
I also love the bright colors though, and would love to see more shirts that are colorful and light...especially for the summer :)
If you made a shirt with this style of painting, but of a penguin I would not only make an instant buy, but it would be followed by a ridiculous and extremely excited happy dance that would require some serious jumping up and down.

Tell us about this design:

Skulls are fun to make, I guess just executing it differently will overlook the fact that we are quite sick of skull shirts :) This is one of my older designs, more than a year. I'm stoked it's finally getting printed (and at Teefury!) I painted this just before I left the office and liked what I saw.

Tell us about yourself:

I go under the aliases ivejustquitsmoking and smoking. I only got introduced to the awesome world of online tee designing about two years ago and it makes me really down when I can't make art or sub something to these kind of sites.

Name a few of your favorite things.

Prawns! White sand beaches and traveling Happy music up my ears People watching Awesome tshirts of course and vanilla ice cream too

Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?

Yes sir I do, top of mind right now is Judith+Holofernes by Franx

What inspires you?

Randomness! There's a certain kind of happy feeling when randomness strikes a chord.

How did you get into art?

As a kid comic books taught how to read. It's funny how I actually learned when I just like to see the drawings!
