I HATE Looooost - saves me money today.

The design is nice and all.

But, the constant Looooost shirts seem to kind of pigeonhole Teefury. I like Looooost, but am completely disinterested in wearing its apparel. These are great shirts to wear once, but once your friends have had a good laugh once, the shirt grows dust and doesn't fulfill the $9 pricetag.

I guess it is smart to sell them if people buy them. I just don't like the situation.

I personally do not watch 1ost for various reasons, but this is the first 1ost shirt on here that makes me think of buying it. Great job Julia. I'll have to sleep on it

I am the wife ;) And being almost 30 myself I couldn't tell you what shows he watched or did not watch in his "prime". However I did shoot him an email and I will send you his response...though if I have another way to contact you that would be great. I would get this but I literally got 4 of the past 5 tees so the $9 + shipping + 3 weeks to get my shirts are worth it. They don't lose any thing after wearing each shirt just once. (Not that PaintedRoadkill said that.) I get giggles all the time I wear my 'TRAP' Ad-mural Ack-Bar (spelled wrong on purpose) tee and I wear that one a lot. Same with my daughter wearing her Bella "MOPE" tee shirt and she's 12.

I lick the idea, and the execution, but as I've said before- Never seen the show- the current one, not the one on NICK at nite- so it's a pass for me.

I know some folks don't like the merger of two shows, but I think it's a hoot. Like the Luigi Master Chief, or the Run DMC Dancin w a r s.

I think the idea of merging two ideas work when there is similar ground. If you'd slap Danny Tanner, Uncle Jesse, and Michelle on an island with smoke- it wouldn't make a connection.

I think it would work well to get Tom Hanks character off Cast Away worked into a L O S T shirt. Or failing that, the volleyball Wilson.

Any way, that's my 37 cents.

i think this design is awesome! Combining Gilligan's Island and Looooost is hilarious. The fact that skipper looks like John Locke and Gilligan kind of reminds me of Ben completes this.

Well, I love Looooost but I have never heard of Gilligan´s Island so I´ll have to pass on this one. Like someone said before I think it would be better that, if you choose to have a shirt from a tv show, that you have the design relate ONLY to that one tv show, no WalletShrinkers because not everybody who watches one show watches the other (specially not if you were born about 20 years after the show first aired and it wasn´t popular at all in your country ;) )

That takes me to another point, (sorry to be such a pain but I finally decided to register to post,lol) well, it´s just a suggestion but you know how teefury is international and checked by people out of the USA too, right? I think it would help if you didn´t have designs related to people who are popular in the USA, or jokes about things said in USA shows (I have seen several designs like that before) because it´s funny there but people from other countries might not get it if they don´t know what´s all about.
But as I said, just a suggestion, of course you´re free to post the things you want to and you´ll know better than I what sells and what doesn´t ;)

Oh and... there are 7 days a week for a teefury shirt and an HUGE Looooost fanbase, whoever is fed up with the Looooost shirts just avoid visiting teefury on tuesdays and that´s all, it´s not that difficult and anyway, the show will be over next month. T_T

I've only seen Giligan's Island once but understood the reference instantly. My Dad would like this shirt if he even knew what Looooost was.

I tried to watch Looooost, but it got pretty boring. I should try and watch more episodes, but I kind of Looooost interest already.

Anyways, these are the type of shirts that are wear once, get a laugh, and then it gets old. People will start to lose interest when the show is over.

I'm surprised at the overwhelming negativity. It's truly a simple premise - both Looooost and Giligan's involve people stranded on an island. Doesn't seem like a stretch to combine the two for a laugh.

As a Looooost fan and someone who is at least aware of Giligan's Island, I got all the references right off the bat. Needless to say I ordered one immediately.

Okay, so those of you who keep mentioning what the smoke monster really is, cough it up! (so to speak)... What's the smoke monster? I think it's John Locke's calculator and he's still sitting in his cube farm, having a psychotic break in which he dreamed the entire "Loooost" series while they're getting ready to cart him away to the funny farm... but that's too "St. Elsewhere" and "Life on Mars"-ish.

i don't do lo st but i do like this shirt cause it is a pretty cool idea. idk , i wish we didn't have a scedualed shirt every tuesday, it just takes away the fun, and now ina grab bag there is a pretty slim chance that you will get anything but a lo st shirt which is sad in itself.

definitely a funny combo but as far as Loooooost related, I will pass. I was hoping for something MORE Looooooost. The last few were great and I am mad I missed the airplane one. Oh well, looking forward to hopefully next tuesday.

Why is everyone so surprised and angered by all the Looooost shirts lately? They announced weeks ago that every Tuesday (Looooost's air night) a new Looooost shirt will be available to commemorate the final season.

Why is everyone so anti-Looooost?

The art's awesome, and I definitely love little collaborations and can appreciate this as a whole.

But at the same time, I personally DO think TeeFury does TOO MANY Looooost shirts. $9 is a KHAAAAAAAN good deal for shirt, and that shirt changes daily....so it's hard to complain.....

But at the same time, there is SOOOOO much art and other possabilities, that it feels almost like a waste to continue doing Looooost shirts as often as it's done on this site.

In the end though, in a business standpoint, I can understand selling what sells. But I'm respectively hoping that the Looooost market becomes saturated.

But still loving all the art!

Why does everyone keep saying "six more weeks and then no more Looooost shirts forever"? Just because the show ends doesn't mean a) you have to stop liking it or b) they won't sell more shirts. When was the last time Kirk and Spock were "current"? We still see shirts of them (unfortunately) :)

This shirt is actually quite cool, I like Gilligans Island, but I am not a L.ost fan so I will have to pass. Very good Execution on the design though.

With that said, what is with people, Does every angry Teefury Visitor come on Tuesday to complain about having or not having a L.ost shirt? I mean wow, if you don't like a shirt, then come back the next day, don't show up every Tuesday to complain if there is a L.ost shirt, and don't show up to complain if there isn't a L.ost shirt. Just show up check out the shirt, if you like the design, tell the hardworking artists you like it, if not, well try to be nice.

If you know the basics of L.O.S.T. and Gilligan's Island, the two make a good match. Here is the opening to the show when it got to the colour stage of filming. Yes, it was originally in B&W, as most TV shows and print film used to be. I guess you'd have to be about 15 years older than you are to really get this reference. NOT slamming you; just making a point.

If this had been that banana side art instead of this L0$T garbage I would have paid double.

But... in ad marketing there is a theory that negative feedback is better than positive feedback. In other words, the whinier you get about L0$T, the bigger the egos the fanboys and fangirls get. All we need to do is ignore it and wait until it's over, or until J.J. Abrams decides he wants another golden toilet seat.

I mean, the show lacks so much substance. It's like they're trying so hard to twist the plot into such nonsensical contortions that it painfully shows. I get about 5 minutes in and since I'm prepared for anything, I'm not intrigued, surprised, or entertained.

Someone up in the comments mention Twin Peaks-- now THERE was a show. Agent Cooper deserves a coffee-themed shirt here on TeeFury.

You can count me as 3 for some Twin Peaks goodness... all time favorite TV show!

I have to agree. I am wanting a kick-behind Looooost shirt for my father-in-law and of course I come to Tee Fury on Tuesday only to find this. Now I don't watch Looooost but I don't think even he would really appreciate this shirt and he is obsessed with the show. Guess I will be back next week for another one.

I really like the shirt - good concept and well executed. So many people feel the need to critique the two shows involved, but I think this is really beside the point. The concept was to merge two culturally popular shows, and the artist achieved just that. Purchased! Thanks for the great shirt, Teefury.

Just a couple of things...

First, you aren't impressing anyone with your advertising "knowledge." Go back to college where maybe someone will be impressed with your ego. Second, JJ Abrams co-created the show, was on board for about 5 episodes and hasn't had any input since (barring structuring the season 3 premire). Finally, L0ST is part sci-fi, hence the "nonsensical contortions" you speak of.

Maybe if you watched for more than the first five minutes then you would have a leg to stand on as far as criticizing the show, but as it stands you clearly don't. Good day, sir.

Gilligan's Island was the original L O S T, but without the smoke, hatch, Others, etc. "Little Buddy" was just a skinny "Dude".

I wish it was gilligan and daniel faraday and gilligan was saying "are you the professor?"

Chill out people. At most, they put a Looooost shirt up once a week, how often are you really buying t-shirts? If you buy 6 in a week, you're doing just fine. The Looooost shirts are clearly popular, so why is it a big deal if they make shirts that please a good amount of the teefury fan base? If you don't want the shirt, don't get it, no one is screaming for teefury to shut down anytime there's a t-shirt that makes a Dancin Stars reference or a mario one. I don't buy t-shirts I don't like, I don't need to post everytime I see them to do away with the designs. So calm down, if you don't like the shirt, that's one thing, its another to lament the existence of the show simply because 24 hours go by that you don't want to buy the shirt.

On a sidenote, I wish I knew about teefury when the WWJLD? shirt was here...
