Like the shirt, overall. I was pleased to see a good mix between the retro and the modern weaponry - a good balance was found without having too much of a "fanboyism" feel for just one genre. Plus, I was surprised yet delighted to see some unusual or lesser known "weapons" featured, such as the Arkanoid Paddle and the Tetris Block.

And is that the James Bond series Golden Gun near the hilt? If so, then awesomesauce. =D

I'm reasonably certain that your first (?) is the Golden Gun featured in Goldeneye (N64) and originally The Man With the Golden Gun. The "Another Final Fantasy Sword" is the Soul Calibur sword from the game with the same name.

:/ the shirt has 3 holes in the buster sword, not two as in the game...I just...I want it. but I'm so broke. and that extra hole in the buster is what I'm going to say is keeping me from an awesome t-shirt so I can sound cool and knowledgeable, and internet-argumentative (that's what everyone loves is it not?) and not super freaking broke, as I truly am.

The pixelated sword toward the bottom left is the "Magic Sword" from the original Legend of Zelda for NES. Probably the greatest Zelda shout out ever.Kudos Mr. Leino

As with so many people, video games have been a major contributing medium of my cultural education since as far back as I can recall. One of my earliest memories is actually being four years old and pushing a stepstool up to a video game cabinet so I could play Q-Bert (for about 12 seconds). For this design, I wanted to highlight some of the most awesome 'weapons' from the history of video games including some of my personal favorites (but less obvious ones) like the Arkanoid paddle, the line piece from Tetris and the Katamari.

What's your favorite time of year?

One of the reasons that I enjoy where I live so much is that it actually has a nice balance between the seasons instead of the two seasons (Summer & slightly less Summer) that I had growing up. My favorite is probably spring though: the bleak winter world feels renewed daily as different trees and flowers offer up their colorful blooms and scents. Coats are left in the closet, restaurants open up their patio seating, convertible tops are down, and someone has a cookout every weekend.

How do you usually get around?

Typically by car, but this winter has been so cold and we've gotten so much show that I've had to try and develop other transportation methods. The most exciting was probably a dog sled. Unfortunately, we only have one dog (and he's a pug), so when I say exciting I actually mean comical. Although maybe that's because *I* was pulling the sled. Hmm....

If you could invent an animal by combining one or more together, what would you create?

Hmm, I think I'd combine a pygmy marmoset and a goldfinch to make my own army of miniature flying monkeys that carry out my every whim. Bwahahaha! Oh, and also crossed with an accountant. You know, so they can do my taxes.

Any guilty pleasures?

Bad movies from the 80's and giving waaaay too long of answers to interview questions.
