So...did the polar bear eat Desmond? I don't understand why the polar bear is there except that it is also something that was in the show. I think it's cute but I don't think I can bring myself to buy it.
However, Jimiyo, I saw your "Dude" shirt with Hurley...you should put that up next week. It'll get haters but I would buy it in a heartbeat. :D Anything with Hurley is insta-win.

I dunno, to me it makes perfect sense- Desmond's job was to punch the numbers in at regular intervals. And we learned from the cages that they had been training the polar bears to perform tasks for treats. Who's to say that their ultimate goal wasn't exactly this scenario? :)

This site has many word filters, some to prevent profanity and some for fun. You have discovered one :)

You can try to find some of the other filters by posting in the forums, but please keep those test posts off the front page.

I'm a bit confused as to why everyone is referring to the television show "Looooost" as "Misplaced." Besides that, for all of those who are confused about the shirt:

The show Looooost is about survivors of a plane crash on a very strange island. There are random polar bears there that we find out about a bit later on and there is a secret science-like institute on the island called the Dharma Initiative. They hired a man named Desmond to punch in specific numbers into a computer ever 108 minutes in order to avoid the island from being blown up. Thus the joke of the shirt is that Desmond feels trapped punching the numbers and he later blows up the hatch where the computer is etc etc etc and the polar bear will (jokingly) replace him as the one who punches in the number sequence.

I know that the plot of the show must sound super ridiculous...but I swear it really is good!

LADIES: Sizing question--very much would like your input.

In the past I have bought (from teevil) the Ladies L and XL. The L I like but it's a bit snug on my sides and torso middle.

The XL is too baggy up top--the sleeves are too long/big, as is the neck. BUT, the sides are still very snug, just like the L.

I don't like to look frumpy or baggy in my shirts, but would like a little more room in the sides/midsection.

SO...do you (anybody!) recommend going with a Guys tee instead? And if I like the Ladies L, would I transfer that to a Guys S or a Guys M?

How long have you had the L shirts for? 'Cause I've had a similar experience between ordering M vs. L (though w/ the L, it was just loose all over), but what I've found is that (like most clothing) the longer you've had it for, especially if you wear it fairly often, it starts to stretch to your body's natural proportions, even after washing.

However, I'm also a frequent buyer of guy sized tees (I heart a good thrift store, what can I say?), and I've found that a Men's S is about the same as a Women's L, but looser through the sides. Obviously, I have no idea about your exact body type vs. mine, but from what you've described, I'd definitely try a Men's S.

You can also check the sizing chart link @ the top, which is sorta helping in terms of comparison.

That part is our fault- the apostrophe in the title caused a temporary error, leading the title to read as just "Desmond." All fixed now though! :)

My original post/comments, before I got distracted by responding to other stuff I was reading on here ;P...

I've only ever seen bits and pieces of MISPLACED (HA! subbed that one in myself! ;D), but from those I kind of remember someone having to sit @ a computer all the time to hit a button at specific times or something, and heck, if nothing else, bear + computers always = hilarious in my book! ;) But since I'm not generally a Looooost fan and I've bought a decent # of TF shirts lately, even though I love the design all on it's own, gotta pass. I do really dig the side art, too, and would probably buy any of those if they were printed!

@Naolito, I love your style and the sense of humor in all your designs! Even though you won't be getting my $1 on this particular day, keep up the awesome work! =D

Thank you almost.meche! You were very helpful. I've had the L tees for awhile...they're okay, just more snug then I'd like. The XL I bought is fairly recent--had to wash it Hot to shrink the sleeves and neck, and they shrunk, but only a very tiny bit. Hoping that with more wash 'n' wear it'll get to a place I like.

I think I'm gonna go with a Guys S on this one (I checked the sizing charts), even though I like the Ladies color better.

I've gottten nearly every looooost shirt, but I think I'm skipping this one. I would have gotten it if "The Numbers" were written across the computer screen, because its otherwise kind of boring. It is cute, though.

Tell us about yourself: I'm a spanish artist that discovered the world of tees design in october 09. From that moment, i couldn't stop designing, working everyday to become a better designer.
