Tell us about this design:   I like a bit of nostalgia when it comes to tshirt design.  Something that triggers a memory, or makes you smile.  With this design I wanted to combine something I love now, with something I loved way back. Sushi and Super Mario Brothers. What with a heavy "seafood theme" in all 3 games, there was so many ingredients to choose from!  Here we have:  Blooper Nigiri, Baby Cheeps Ship, Big Bertha Sashimi & Frog Suit Mario Nigiri - delicious!

Tell us about yourself:  I live in Australia, I do most of my work in Illustrator and I'm just about ready to make a cup of tea.

What's a day in the life of thickblackoutline like?  Typically it involves a day job for a Japanese company in Australia, and then from the home office I freelance.  To procrastinate, I bake.

What do you want Teefury fans to know?  It's always important to take some time out, and be creative for yourself.... and there's always time for cupcakes.

Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?  I own a few tees, but my favourite of all time was from when I was 6, I had a pink Dick Dasterdly tee.

What inspires you?  I'm constantly inspired by asian art, and other cultures from around the world.

What do you do for a living?  I'm a graphic designer by day, and graphic designer by night

How did you get your start in art?  Professionally, I moved interstate and made a career change. Personally. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember!

If you could own an exotic animal as a pet, what kind would you have, and what would you name it? It'd be a Lion named Leyroy
