One great way to judge color is to check the shirt pics on Flickr- here's a navy one that I think gives a good representation of the color.

I actually think it works better with the color this way. I just imagine that this way, if the jellyfish were to move, the colors on it would change. Like the colors are hanging in the water or something.

Think of it as sunlight being split into a rainbow as it cuts though the water and the jellyfish is just in the right place to catch the projecting bands of color. This shirt is amazing, I'm gonna have to get one I think.

I must be really immature, because I'm thinking it reminds me of something that swims in a fallopian tube, but the colors are pretty. Otherwise, the tentacles are too distinct to be a jellyfish... I would expect them to look more transparent. Glad it's an art tee, but I would never wear it.

There's no such thing. The coincidence that several shirts devoted to the show L0ST just happen to fall on the occasional Tuesday. It's something Furians made up and don't happen on ever single Tuesday of the month. Unless it's L0ST month. But I'm not going to tell you when that is.

This shirt is so well done. The color fade is great. The layout makes for quite the smashing looking T to wear. I'll bet this thing will looks SO good when it is back from print.

BTW, the triangle you are seeing is light reflecting from the proportion of what some people call female breasts. If you wear a special pair of 3D TeeFury Glasses, You'd be able to see how it works.

I'm working on a design to submit and I wonder if anyone can answer a question for me... How strict is the 6 colour limit when your submitting a design. Do black, white, and grey count as individual colours? Do two shades of the same colour count as two separate colours or just one?

If someone could clarify this for me that would be great.

The six color limit is very strict- and if you want to print on a dark shirt, the limit is actually 5 (as those designs require an underbase).

Black, white, and grey are all different colors. Each shade would also count as a different color. One way to get around this is by using halftone dots to give the illusion of more colors.

OMG!OMG! OMG!!! I just hope I am at my computer the day this shows up as I generally miss the shirts on Friday's and Saturday's due to commitments that I cannot shirk. I hope it's sooner than later!! WOOT!!

I thought it was obvious I was just bein' silly about the
3D L0ST shirt.

It stemmed from a search of 3D glasses to use in my post earlier and I came upon that image that reminded me of the Dharma logo.

Why would I hate you when I just made a fool of myself? Snork!! Well, you had me going so GOOD ON YOU!!! WOOT!! Still, a 3D Looooost Tee would have been super killer. I love Looooost even though it's one of the most aggravating shows on the tube. Still, good on you!! (snork!)

What's been going on since you last print? It's been a long time! (07/16/09)

Well, as I mentioned in the July ’09 interview, I moved to Denver and took co-ownership of a thirty year old union printshop. Business has been good, despite the crappy economy, and it’s been incredibly refreshing being my own boss. My co-owners and I are in the process of acquiring a warehouse, so it seems life is about to get even more amazing.

Although my workload now includes designing and printing various paper products, I’m still getting a fair amount of freelance work done. I got to work for Fright Rags and Earache Records a lot this year, as well as a bunch of other great bands and clothing labels.

Since design and printing is now my career rather than my hobby, that’s opened up my nights and weekends for hanging out with cats, Wii bowling, failed attempts at eating seven pound breakfast burritos, and an absurd amount of Quantum Leap.

What would the Matt of the Now tell the Matt of 10 years ago?

What's in the future?

Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top-secret project known as Quantum Leap. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Dr. Beckett prematurely stepped into the project accelerator, and vanished.

He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own time was maintained through brain-wave transmissions with Al, the project observer, who appears in the form of a hologram, that only Dr. Beckett can see and hear. Trapped in the past, Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home.
