Crocs Gators always ride in style. Especially when they have turtles to do their bidding.

You draw a lot of animals. Are they your favorite subject to draw, or do your illustration ideas just happen to revolve around them?

Usually as Im drawing something new ideas come up, it just happens that

while Im drawing a sbuject maybe something similar to it will come up, so there will be times where I draw a bunch of bird ideas, then move on to like a different subject. Ive been working on a few ideas that dont involve animals lately

How do you decide your color palettes? Do you prefer bright or muted palettes?

It all depends on the artwork, but usually I go with more muted palettes, I always think is this something I would actually wear? then go from there.

At what point in your drawing process do the little details come in, like the bumper sticker or the little frog with a bowler cap catching a ride?

Usually when Im working in that specific area of the design, drawing is a time I use to try and forget about all the other stuff going on in my life, so my mind is all in the artwork and just wanders away, and Ill just randomly draw a lil frog catching a ride there

Do you ever imagine a backstory for the characters that you draw?
