Tell us about this design:
Since I have kids who I am trying to instill a respect for all living creatures, we now try and rescue wayward spiders, and move them outside. I was moving in with the paper, and cup technique to re-locate a big scary beastie that was high on our bedroom wall, and she kamakazi'd my ass, and fell behind the bed and has remained in hiding. I like to think she knew I was trying to help her, but in reality, I think she's building an army to crawl up my nose, and lay eggs in my brain when I'm asleep, and even if she wrote, "Some Guy" in a web above my bed, I still wouldn't really trust her. So, this design is kind of a warning to the world about spiders...they can't be trusted.
What have you been up to since Glasses Make Me Smart and your epic
Teefury success with TRAP?
Just trying to come up with shirt ideas. The older I get, the less creative I become, so that makes it hard, especially since I'm aging pretty much all the time
Are you still getting interest in your Trap shirt? Where can people get it?
It was one of the re-launch shirts over at teextile, and it's still available at redbubble, but interest has finally kind died down.
Is there somewhere in the world that you'd like to be right now?
Kissing Valentino by a crystal blue Italian stream. Actually, my kids are snoozing in their beds, my wife is asleep next to me, and after I write this, I'm going to catch up on some my shows on hulu until I fall asleep with my laptop on my chest. There's no place I'd rather be.
What's your art process like, from initial sketch to finished product?
It's different from piece to piece. Most start as a rough sketch done in meetings because I don't always pay much attention, then I scan, photoshop, print, beer, light box, scan again, and then end up in Illustrator...or sometimes back to photoshop, rinse and repeat. Basically, on my really clean designs it's a lot of work, and usually I'm disappointed in the results, and because it took a year to make, I feel it should be better. I used to be a lot faster, but I also cared a lot less. I painted today for the first time in a few months. I went back to an old canvas I had started but never finished. I started over by doing an analog ALT+Backspace by dumping black paint on it. Now I have a blank canvas that will probably mock me daily until I finish it.
If you could own an exotic animal as a pet, what kind would you have,
and what would you name it?
My son and I were recently talking about exotic animals, and he said he was going to invent a shrink ray so we could shrink cool animals and then we'd have tiny pet cheetahs, and whale sharks. I'd love to have a 3 inch black panther. I'd probably name it Jeff if it was a boy, or Wonderbabe if it was a girl.
Any shout outs?

"I'm sorry," the man says. "But what's the deal with the three legs?"
"Mister," the farmer says, "a pig like this you don't eat all at once."
