for the record so I don't get flamed for wrong band reference, I know its bowie, Saul Williams did a spin off of it which i thought was a weird coincidence.

I'm guessing less than 1/4 of the people who buy this shirt have any idea who are what Ziggy Stardust is.

well bowie comes to mind first because hey, it's bowie. only when ziggy tardust was mentioned did i think of saul williams.

I couldn't agree more. However, this design isn't anything that unique when you consider the thousands of designs that adorn hockey goalie masks. That said, I really like it and I would wear this shirt if I could purchase it. No do-re-mi.....no tee. :(

the reason you're wrong is ziggy srardust is playable on guitar hero, if its on guitar hero the youths will learn it and act hip.

Yeah, so did I. If it had the lyric, then I'd actually consider buying it, but since it doesn't, I'm going to have to pass. Because then it's one of those shirts you have to explain to everyone because without the lyric...it really makes no sense.

We don't. But we DO delete comments that are dismissive and don't contribute to the conversation. Next time, tell people reading more about what you are reacting to- do you love the colors? hate the concept? like the side art? The comment "meow" tells us, the artist, and everyone reading nothing at all.

I love David Bowie, but I'm not sure about this shirt. Haven't seen those movies, and... I don't know, it's just not my style. I still have an hour and a half to decide, but I probably won't buy this one. I do like the colors, though...
