A nostalgic view of scenes from the past. What memories would your view machine hold?

What's a typical day in the life of Josh like?

I wake up, brew a full pot of coffee, walk the pugs, check my e-mail, then put on one of my favorite podcasts, or bands, and get to work. I usually am either inking, penciling or conceptualizing for my graphic novel, comics, t-shirt designs, or illustrations for clients for 8-16 hours. I occasionally work on my podcast with my friend kevin cross, or noodle around on guitar, then it's to sleep again in order to do it all over again... I know, exciting isn't it!

What have you been listening to lately?

Lately I've been on a Leonard Cohen kick, sort of digging the poet/folk thing at the moment. The newer stuff I've been listening to is Ida Maria, Bon Iver, Pheonix, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, and Metric.

What's your favorite graphic novel?

Jimmy Corrigan the Smartest Kid on Earth by Chris Ware. If you haven't read this book, you shouldn't be a designer or illustrator.

Is there a skill you wish you had?

Loads. Mainly the ability to create quality artwork faster, or to freeze time. I am strongly convinced Ware has one, if not both of those abilities.
