Grew up an Alabama fan, but I ended up going to Troy, so now they're my #1 team. Alabama's still #2, though. I'm buying this shirt for a friend of mine who's a big Bama fan. :)

I feel like the audience for this is SO limited it doesn't allow the design to be seen for just a design. I love the detail in the elephant, but also dislike sports, so im going to have to wait for the next Jimiyo tee to come along :(

I don't know about UT but my first reading of this shirt was a tea bagger T. Highly politically charged and I'd never buy it because it will get misread. Sorry. Elephants have different readings in different contexts. No football in this image, confusing context which has to be explained.

I don't bleed burnt orange, but as an Austinite I support the 'Horns. All that aside, the design has some weirdness for me. It's hard to tell the skull is a longhorn because it's viewed from the side. The horn in the bg looks like a log. I do like the elephant's face though.

I am a Texas fan, but I gotta admit this shirt is pretty good. It's got a "kick 'em when they're down" feel to it. I especially like the cross-hatching on the elephant to emulate the texture of the animal's skin. Did anybody notice the elephant tearing off the longhorn horn is kind of symbolic of Colt's injury. Still trying to figure out who did the voodoo against us... At least we still got basketball.

Pay money to remember one of the worst championship games ever? Within 5 minutes it went from intense to lame. Sad for both teams for the championship to be such a fake.

As a sports fan I would love to wear a unique shirt supporting my team rather than the same basic design printed a million times like the ones you normally find. Unfortunately I go to LSU so I can't support this particular shirt (though I am happy a SEC team can win the BCS once again).

It's not politically charged. It's a mascot. Elephants are rad and if you're avoiding them because you're afraid of what people will think, then lol on you. Chances are if you're buying this shirt, you and a the people close to you (and anyone else who knows anything about football) will know what it means.

You should see my Ohio State shirt that I got from a local bar made by a local artist. I live in Youngstown, Ohio. If any sport nuts know Jim Tressel used to be the coach for YSU Penguins, so obviously we love the guy; but back to the shirt. Id post a pic but it wouldnt be allowed. "f**k the ducks. Go Bucks 2010" I'm sure you can imagine what Brutus is doing to the Ducks mascot on the front of the shirt ;)

I didn't even know Crimson Tide meant elephant until last week. I thought it was the tide that comes in and kills all sea life or something. Also college football fans have nothing on soccer fans. I'm not a big soccer fan but you can't deny it.

It came from a journalist who was describing the players coming out of the tunnel. He thought it sounded like a heard of elephants: thus their mascot.

I don't see what this shirt has to do with Alabama, but I bought it anyways for my sister who is obsessed with all things elephants who is also graduating in 10. I think it is a perfect graduation gift for her because it says 2010 (the year she graduates) and has an elephant (she owns like a million elephant statues and knickknacks). I don't ... See Morethink she will know the difference unless I am totally missing the reference. I thought the red tide or whatever literally meant the red tide that comes in the gulf of mexico every year... what an elephant has to do with that I do not know, but at least it is not a wasted opportunity to buy a shirt!

I have a friend who will LOVE this shirt.

Congrats Alabama, you got lucky and injured our QB on the first drive. You would have had no chance otherwise.

As for the art itself forgetting about how I feel personally about the teams. Nice detail on the elephant, not a very good drawing of a crushed longhorn skull though.
