I try not to wear brands...or anything valentiney (unless it was a zombie chewing on a heart or something) but congrats on getting the shirt up.

Why does being "flat-chested" matter in this context?
We're talking about shirt designs, art, artists, etc.
I think maybe you're on the wrong site if that's your main concern.
Besides, having a more "level surface" allows for more direct and all around viewing of an overall design on a wearer's shirt ;)

Being a larger chested woman myself, I've purchased shirts and can't wear them because boobs can distort the image on the shirt. A flat chested female doesn't show the possible distortion. Why not just have two male models if they both are going to have flat pecs?

Agreed that distortion can be an issue when you have a larger chest. I've purchased shirts before that were totally ruined by distortion. It's not a slam on the models, just easier to make a purchase decision when the model looks more like your body type. :)

Trust me, I am not some sort of pervert that trolls t-shirt websites looking for well-endowed models.
It does have some bearing in this context in that many women have breasts much larger than the average model, myself included. Its not even a matter of "large" breasts, it is a matter of any size distortion to the intended design. Typically, the female models do not address this distortion.
I believe that this discussion is fully merited under the heading of "shirt design, art, artists, etc." If a shirt is meant to be worn by females, I believe this topic of discussion is definitely warranted. Often placement is a topic of interest in artistic critique, and this topic at least falls under than category.
Commenting on the "level surface" simply points to the heart of matter. I would venture to guess than many women do not have the privilege (?) that allows for "more direct and all around viewing of an overall design".

The models used here are DBH models. TeeFury doesn't hire its own models. They just photoshop the day's design onto the models photo. Do you really expect DBH to go out and hire big boobed models just because some of you have large ta-ta's and can't use your imagination to decide how it will look on you or how the design will stretch or distort on your mammaries? Maybe you should go to the mall and shop.
Mock up. If they used a big tittied model, it would still look flat because it's a Mock Up and it looks stupid to artificially stretch the designs 99 times out of 100.
They're a picture, not real people. This shirt has never been on their body and probably never will, since I'm assuming these are bases from DBH anyway. The fact of whether they have manboobs or not is completely irrelevant.
Offtopic, but I had a Teefury dream last night. I ordered a panda design (on a blue shirt, for anyone wanting to take up the challenge) and was set a real panda cub, that went into my kitchen and started throwing around plates.
I like this shirt, but I don't know if I love my computer enough to wear a shirt like this. Cool design though, and refreshing to see something that isn't a misplaced or Dancin Stars reference.
I love Mac. But not enough to wear it... esp on a white shirt.
And to all those women out there that can't imagine how a shirt design will distort to their own body shape: the reason this isn't done is because the images are placed on in Photoshop. The tees get made later. Why waste the time to try and distort the image over some girl's chest when the average bra size (B) will not usually distort the image at all anyway?
Really, and if your boobs are distorting the image that much, then either don't buy a chest-design shirt at all, or consider getting a breast reduction. Because if my art which I put blood, sweat, and tears into looked like a silly putty imprint when worn upon your chest, I would take that as an insult to my art.

The only reason I said ANYTHING in regards to your comment is because of the vague state you left it in. From your comment, all I got from your 'message' was, "I wish these girls had bigger boobs." And there was no reasoning as to why. So, this is why I had assumed that it was just rude.
(And to all you others commenting upon this topic): As for the designs working on larger-chested women, I understand that in some cases there can be distortion to the design. It is apparent that DBH chooses their models so that designs can be seen as a whole (one of many marketing techniques). But really, if your chest is causing such a huge distortion to the image on your shirt, maybe get the next size up(??).

Wow the comments in this thread.
I dig the design- rly nice- I don't
I'm really digging the thumbprint/on logo design- but maybe not on brown? (Not a color that works for ppl across the board).
It'd be an interesting challenge to devise an accurate system for mocking up tee designs for well-endowed models. Perhaps something akin to Tissot's Indicatrix could be applied? Such a breakthrough would revolutionize the field of anthro-topological image manipulation, an academic specialty I invented just now. Does Teefury offer research grants?

No thanks, I love my boobs. Also, I think singling out a demographic like that is just a bad marketing strategy. Remind me to never buy one of your precious designs. I'm honestly not trying to be rude here, but I find your banter rather offensive.

It would be relatively easy to write, actually. It would be similar to any other reprojection of an image, I do it all the time, just typically map related.

Wow, I also found that incredibly offensive. You don't have to get all angry just because your designs look differently on larger chested people. I want to see what happens when you lose that particular type of buyer, since you are apparently insulted by them.
Why not just print flat posters instead of T-shirts if you are like that???

Ill finish that quote from Charlie Brooker for you "computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work"
Just because you use both PC and Mac doesnt mean you know how to use a PC to the degree you should. Benefits of PCs greatly outweigh the minor annoyances of things like the occasional virus (one usually get viruses from their own stupidity) or having to defrag your HDD.
Anyway, no comments on what look like errors in the design in the top left part of the heart?
I outweigh the female model by at least 40 pounds and im assuming im at least a few inches taller. I also don't have the same torso proportions. Where are my 5 foot 10" short waisted, medium build models? Oh could i also get a model with sleeve tattoos so i can make sure it's not going to clash with mine? ;P
I kid, I kid... I would actually like to see more models with diverse body types too. However like someone else said, It's much faster and cheaper for TF to use the template pack from DBH so...maybe someday.
Can you solve the issue by comparing how much distortion you get with other chest art shirts and sorta visualizing how it will do so with this design? Or just order a size up to minimize the stretch? I don't have very big knockers but i have a wide ribcage so i get a stretch too..so i just order a size up :)
Firecoral's boob reduction comment was a little much though. Cause, you know getting a boob reduction is just like walking in and getting your nails done. Also invasive surgery is cheap and totally not risky! Ugh.
The design is adorable--although, I can't see it being appealing to men whatsoever. Alas, I am a mac-tard so I shall pass. Usually when working on a mac I want to throw it out the window...I just wanted to right click!

Um, I'm sorry my 6 foot frame looks more normal with DD Uhura than with B ones? (In fact I think getting a breast reduction would just end up with me looking like I have moobs, not boobs)
I'm sorry I still want to wear designed shirts despite my bustyness? I may not be the skinniest person, but curvy describes me well. Not near the skinny of that model, but I'm not shapeless and obese either.
Pardon my being born this way. I hope to never make you feel the pain of seeing me in a tee of yours and insulting you.

You dont have to be a "MAC Person," to like MAC's. I have 2 laptops and a mac, so think about that...
sloggerkhansaid 118 weeks ago
Really like the hand, but it might just be Deus Ex nostalgia.
tonyboy88said 118 weeks ago
Totally agree. Plus Whacko and stormingorman need to take a chill pill. My Mac has never emptied my pockets plus as I said in an earlier quote I use macs and PC's, u know why. No Viruses on a mac and they auto defrag! Lawyered.

I don't like Macs or VD the day. So pass for me. Some kick ass flanking art stuff. Nice skills Charaspower.

I dig the design- rly nice- I don't I'm really digging the thumbprint/on logo design- but maybe not on brown? (Not a color that works for ppl across the board).

Cute shirt, though. I love the open discussion of boobage vs non-boobage.

Yes.
I like boobs. Small, big, lop-sided. All kinds. I don't discriminate.
I want someone to follow up with.. I Hate Boobs.
Boobs. meow, not for me.
I hate white boobs.
Boobs, I prefer the side-boob.

No thanks, I love my boobs. Also, I think singling out a demographic like that is just a bad marketing strategy. Remind me to never buy one of your precious designs. I'm honestly not trying to be rude here, but I find your banter rather offensive.
bluchezsaid 118 weeks ago
It would be relatively easy to write, actually. It would be similar to any other reprojection of an image, I do it all the time, just typically map related.

Wow, I also found that incredibly offensive. You don't have to get all angry just because your designs look differently on larger chested people. I want to see what happens when you lose that particular type of buyer, since you are apparently insulted by them.
Why not just print flat posters instead of T-shirts if you are like that???

Awww you can still apply. I'm just not Mac crazy. More like not Apple product crazy. Usually there are better alternatives. Oh and I'm all for the big boob models. Even big man boobs if need be. :D
I think we should get Fuzzy to be the male model***that's not boobs related. just my vote***

Anyway, no comments on what look like errors in the design in the top left part of the heart?
missmonstersaid 118 weeks ago
Ugh.
