Hummingbirds flap their wings around 90 times a second. Hector flaps his wings about 9 times a minute. I've gotta get me some of the nectar Hector's drinkin'.

i bet a hundo everyone saying it would be saying it if the designs were flipped. Its almost like not having any input at all on the shirt at hand. Its just saying the artist has more than one good design.

I'm trying to figure out why you need to know when the squirrel got his tatoos, Ada. I'm just curious. The tats caught my eye, too. But I think they're clever additions. Besides, they can't be tatoos anyway since the squirrel has that lovely death-gray colored fur. So what I think is that the critter must have had them air-brushed on, starting a whole new rage for tree-dwelling zombimals...or, you're right...they could have been painted before the sqirrel turned crazed killer. Cool designs, too. Oak leaves, vegan symbol and acorn.
Well, Ada, with any luck you'll discover that the "tats" are really washable air-brushings that will be removed at first washing. Maybe another blogger who is as delusional as we are (what do you mean the squirrels aren't real?) will fill us in on the true nature of the tatoos and the timing of their applications.
Congrats on the printing and yes, I would buy the squirrel t-shirt if it was printed some day.

This is because people who like the shirt buy it. People who don't buy are generally the ones commenting.

Interesting phenomenon: when we take former side art that people requested and sell that (something we do fairly often, btw), many people still beg for the new side art :)

All of your illustrations are wonderful! This tee is not my personal style but I love that Teefury is giving real artists a chance instead of forcing out half-baked exploding bacteria references!

Duh! Haven't YOU and everyone else who makes this complaint noticed that the side art is almost always better, usually much more detailed and time-consuming? Do you think this is coincidence? No, you think it is a mistake. It's intentional! Don't you think there is some sort of calculus going on involving what the artist is willing to let a particular piece go for, what he/she will be compensated, and the amount of time they put into the piece? So they let a lesser work go on the cheap t-shirt site. Jeez. It's not rocket science.

What everyone seems to forget is that the ARTIST selects which work to give to Teefury to print. The sideart is generally just an overview of the artists style. Often if you follow the link to the artist's portfolio, you'll find some of the designs for sale on other t-shirt sites.
