    AUGH.

    It is so frustrating to have such an awesome concept be so unfortunately rendered.

    That said, their faces look super weird and sadly, even as TeeFury's most outspoken Trek Original Series supporter, I will not be buying.

    Also I can't seem to figure out why Spock is wearing a baseball jersey with one sleeve rolled up that somehow has his rank stripes on it while the captain has his uniform shirt.

    Though I think The Shat's face is pretty hilarious, Spock is just all wrong. Not going to buy. I love Star Trek more than a friend but I'm just got feeling this shirt.

    What's up with Spock's left arm/hand? It seems awkwardly angled and the shirt's all weird.

    Huge fan as I am, I'm afraid this is a pass for me. Which socks 'cause I usually collect Trek shirts like a squirrel with nuts. (Or was it chipmunks? W/e.)

    Please look closer and see that it only has 4 strings and what you may perceive to be extra strings are the edges of the fingerboard.

    I was going to buy it until I read everyone's comments about how it looks weird. the only weird parts to me are how Spock's right shirt sleeve is not there and how his bass has six strings where the pick-ups should be. Other than that, it's a fine shirt. I really like the shape of the bass, though.

    I love Star Trek and am STILL very sad that I missed out on the Spock Paper Scissors shirt that was up a month or so ago. So I jumped with excitement, at first, when I saw this shirt. But one thing irks me. The Shat seems right on--too serious, with clunky microphone. But why does Spock look more like JJ Abrams's juvenile Spock? And, as others have noted...baseball jersey? I think this t-shirt would work if Spock were more ST:TOS.

    I really like the placement and the subject and I'd even rock those colours. But I won't be buying. It overall just.. looks awkward.

    Though I ADORE the juxtaposition of the Vulcan salute and devil horns. Please take that and run with it!

    Shirt sleeves, guitars, faces, all bother me. Love me some trek, not so much this shirt. Stablercake- I love you. Almost as much as I love trek.

    And come on! Trekkies are the one of the largest and most trivia based nerd groups out there. Mess up a trek reference, and you'll hear about it.

    I'd rather have the linked picture of the full band just printed on a shirt. Go Uhura!

    i would have to agree with stablercake. the idea was good but the execution was a major fail.... also have to agree it looks like Heros Spock with Shatner.... B^(

    also i think the reason Spock is wearing a baseball shirt is kuz the artist was trying to make it look like his arms were shadowed, but didn't pull it off very well

    This is an all around fail for me. Fail on the design. Fail on the color. Fail on the interview.
    But, I guess you like Trek enough you probably won't mind all the flaws and buy it anyway, so good on that for the artist!

    Seriously people? You are annoyed that his jersey sleeve is pulled up? The Teefury community seems to be the hardest bunch of people to please. Half of the comments I see on here are rather petty, and mostly aimed at insulting to the artist/curator/people who actually LIKE the work. Whatever, its the internet...say what you want.

    Most likely you are not going to love *every* shirt. If you did - you would probably go broke XD. Oh.. and I LOVE this one - BOUGHT! (And I am a HUGE Trek fan!!)

    Agh hit Post too soon. Was gonna respond and say "I don't think it's the shirt sleeve, the rendering is just not very good. It looks incredibly awkward. I don't think it's that we're 'the hardest to please' as much as Teefury is supposed to produce quality shirts with well-done artwork, and this isn't up to par."

    If you look carefully at the "six strings" between the pickups, you will see that the outside strings are in fact thinner than the four strings and are part of the body of the guitar

    not the smartest, are you? the zombie squirrel shirt is going to print on some european site, so it likely wont print here. it was stated at least 10 times on the shirt of which it was side art, and on several other shirt threads already. but im sure teefury is shaking in its pants right now, they might go bankrupt since you refuse to buy any other shirts

    I'm assuming Spock's sleeve is rolled up so that the fabric won't catch on the strings, I've seen guitarists do that.

    I'm very, very tempted to buy this one, I love it!

    Man, people are harsh. This is a fun exploding bacteria t-shirt, intended to garner high-fives from like minded individuals, not to be hung in the Guggenheim.

    It seems like the TeeFury critics are getting ever more toxic...next time I get printed here, I'm gonna hide under my pillow until it's over.

    Yeah dudes you're all just being mean with your expectations of "well-rendered designs" and such.

    Seriously though if you're a designer and this sort of criticism frightens you, wtf. This is good, it helps you grow. People being honest with you is more important than "lol love it!" any day of the week. Sorry we have higher expectations than this? You can always go start your own Cafepress shop.
