Tell us about yourself: If I was on a desert island and I could only watch one movie it would be “Tootsie” because it’s funny and sweet and perfect. I love my iPod Touch. I met my dog on-line. I like to quote that line in Aliens where Bill Paxton yells, “Seventeen days! We’re not going to last 17 hours man!” I work at a bank so I’m not as tall as you think I am because I’m wearing heels right now. When I wear heels, they’re usually wedges. People at the bank say things to me like, “You look like a vegetarian.”

You have a great Flickr portfolio of photos and drawings. How long
have you been making drawings? Just for fun? Which one is your
favorite? Thanks! I started drawing cartoons about 3 years ago. The more I draw, the more I can see what’s wrong with what I’m drawing, which makes me more critical and it can be frustrating but I think my drawings are getting better as a result. I’ve always drawn just for fun. Last year someone paid me to draw something, which was lovely. As for my favorite cartoon - I like the one where I’m at work and thinking about sleeping in bed and then I’m at home in bed and I can’t sleep because I’m thinking about work. I like the symmetry.

What's a day in the life of fuffer like? A weekday is like this: The alarm goes off, the dog starts licking and pawing at me. I get dressed, walk the dog, feed the dog, say goodbye to the dog. I take the subway downtown to the financial district. I work at bank in a cube and my title is Risk Reporting Analyst which I guess is what I do. It’s mostly Access queries. I listen to my iPod. I have lunch and coffee with my buddies at work. I take the subway home. I walk and feed the dog. After work I go out with friends or sleep or draw or watch streaming video on Netflix or all those things. I stay up too late because I like the night.

What would be your dream job? I’d like to do something with my drawings and mosaics and crafty stuff where people pay me. Unemployment is also nice.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or tales of intrigue? My mother tried to smuggle us out of Iran when I was 4. She got the American Embassy to legally change our names and issue new passports for us. I found out a few years ago that my legal name is Margaret Kaiser. I like to think of Margaret Kaiser as my secret identity.
