The Playstation controller with three buttons is bothering me but I don't think this is supposed to be a literal representation of Zelda. I think they were going for a "geek warrior" motif with the essence of Zelda in it. Or maybe I'm just rationalizing...whatever, I bought it.

LOVE the T-Rex! I once got in trouble for a drawing that depicted me feeding my 6th grade teacher to a T-rex. That design brings back memories.......^_^

It's always funny when little details get messed up around geeks. They tend to rip it apart because it's not 100% accurate. The controller is bothersome but even if it was an accurate NU64 controller I'd never wear this. Not cause it's bad but because I don't want to get Melvined.

Funny that everyone screams Zelda. When I saw this I was screaming Dungeons and Dragons! Until I saw the controller...but it still is very D&D-ish to me the controller is just another aspect of the "fandom" since alot of D&D based games comes on the Playstation.

Maybe the artist was trying to encompass all those things that make us Geeks. Zelda type games with D&D thrown in and of course a controller that most people will recognize right off the bat.

But I would absolutely kill for the lizard tee called "Banzai", if I'm not mistaken, that's in his Porfolio, along with some tremendous other designs, some of which are part of the side art. Since my French is kinda rusty, I'm not positive that the lizard design is his but I'm guessing it is. I hope that I see it soon, available here or elsewhere. Or.....is it already available somewhere?

But the playstation style controller and the sword being slightly to one side kinda bugs me. Was really looking forward to this tshirt, in fact I didn't buy the koopa one earlier this week cos I was looking forward to fridays choice but now I wish I had bought it

that s word is unbelievably jacked up, off center on one side up top, off center the other side on bottom...and not in a way that looks intentional, but in a way that looks careless and crooked...also I probably would have gone for the N64 controller over an almost PlayStation controller, but thats just me...

This is close to being perfect; if the sword wasn't off centre, and it was a playstation controller...

What's with all the complaints against the remote? It's a geek shirt. Nintendo started it all. However, geekdom was mainstreamed by the PS2. Anyway, I like the shirt.

I would buy the thinking man at the iMac or the guy walking the dinosaur instantly, but this one is a definite pass. Seems strange to try to go for a geek motif and then sort of only go half way. OG Playstation controller and the USB symbol? Those should have either been dropped to stick more directly to the Zelda motif, or the geekiness should have been ramped way up.

In fact i choose a controler who can make a goos sword. For the button there is 3 because it represent the symbol of this game with 3 geometrical form ;)

and if its supposed to be a ps controller, it also has a usb sign which I wouldnt say fitted. To me it looks like more of a collaboration of "geek" then a hardcore zelda loyal design.

I don't think the point of this shirt was to make specific references, I think it's the whole concept of gaming/electronics/general geekiness that's the point. I like it!

I don't distinguish difference between geek dork nerd or any variation there of. :) I'm not an elitest nerd/geek/dork. I'm an inclusivist. We must band together my brothers and sisters of Nerdom!

It's NOT a playstation controller with 3 buttons. (No analog sticks either) More likely it's a USB controller, i had one when i was younger for playing roms on my computer. Roms like zelda.

In all honesty I don't think this is designed well. I don't like the position of the letters and all gold tones throws things for a loop. Plus if you are trying to go for a Zelda look which it looks like you were a playstation controller is just out of the question. Going to pass on this.

With all the Star Wars, Star Trek, and other exploding icons that get riffed on here, I don't know how much of that was taken into consideration, but it's a good point.

Either go all in or not at all. If you use the 'essence of Zelda', I believe it would be better to stay true to Zelda. Otherwise the geeks (your audience) will complain and therefor will not appreciate the design as much *shrug*.

This shirt is AWESOME. :) GREAT work.

This design is all over the place. It's mainly Zelda, but you've included a PS controller for some reason rather than an appropriate Nintendo controller (and apparently a third party one at that), and then a USB icon for whatever reason. Bleh.

btw i didn't mean to be harsh, your art rocks, but this is a poor t-shirt. I always come here and see really bad t-shirt designs, yet the artists sidebars are always stunning.

Wrong controller! If it looked like and NES, SNES, N64, Heck i'd even take a gamecube! But it didnt and so it is a no buy for me! It doesnt even have to be the original controller, just resemble something nintendo. Zelda is NOT on playstation and will nver be so it doesnt make sense and so therefore the shirt doesnt make sense.

Ah, didn't notice the controller until now. Still not gonna buy it, though, it's just not my kind of tee.
