now im a big star wars fan but.... what happened to all the cool art tees that this sight usta have?? this sight is getting to where all yall have are video game, star wars, star trek shirts...B^(
Apparently I'm totally in the minority (so far) here because I think this is one of the more original (and definitely one of the more well made...) parodies of Star Wars seen on this site, though I have to agree that at this rate the site might as well change it's name to PadawanFury.com or something... I haven't been coming to this site since its inception by any means but the time that I have been (about a year now, almost...) I have seen its selection of designs shift more toward ... spoofalicious and humor than ... not.
Love it - saw it on the Facebook Preview and hit refresh here until I could order it. I remember seeing it on ZeroBriant's portfolio a few weeks back and hoped that it would show up here someday.
On another note - there's a lot of pissy people here some days, complaining about the shirts because it's ANOTHER spoofalicious shirt, or ANOTHER Star Wars shirt or ANOTHER exploding bacteria shirt. Seriously, lighten up people.
How much do you want to bet that the artsy shirts that you're begging for sell barely 10% that the Star Wars or Star Trek shirts sell? If Tee-Fury didn't produce a bunch of popular shirts, than I doubt it could even afford a day or even a weeks worth of artsy shirts. Cut them some slack - they DO have a business to run, and at least understand that without the shirts you hate, they couldn't sell the ones you love.
Sometimes I feel like more side art should be chosen to be the actually t-shirt because it is often much cooler. An example would be today's shirt: Ninja or snake-hands-lady = Awesome.
As hilarious as chewbacca mints are, this doesnt make too attractive a shirt.
And i dont mean to be too much of a hater on Zerobriant here, cause any of the side arts would have been excellent.
And maybe this would make a great actual mint tin for thinkgeek.com or something,
But for the past few days, teefury, you been hittin me up with some dissapointment: there's more cheesy jokes and less badass shirts.
Dont let this beautiful site become a shirt.woot.com guys

Alright, so there was a t-shirt made back in late December... it was a raccoon head with a headband and a couple wooden looking tennis rackets if I remember correctly. So is anybody knows what I’m talking about and remembers who the artist was please let me know...thanks

Just throwin it out there.. more than a few of us came here for art shirts, cuz they were awesome, and had no affiliation with sports, or views or activities of any kind.. I haven't bought a shirt for a month or so, and that one was an art shirt you say cant really pay for itself.. :/ sew.. whateva, I'm waiting for the side art to start becoming shirts..
Artsy shirts are all well and good, and it's GREAT that TeeFury is a good source for them at a very accessible price. However, with the popularity of a lot of the p o p c u l t u r e properties, I'm sure there is some crossover with various fansites, etc, that brings people who aren't usual Teefurians here to help support this site. It's crossover appeal, and I don't begrudge Jimiyo the chance to do that in order to provide us the artsy shirts as frequently as they do.
Haha, hard mints or chewy mints, either way very refreshing I'm sure. This site offers us top designs by independent artists at an amazing price, and from what I can tell, the mix/ratio of tees is pretty bloody good. I for one, love this site and the people behind the scenes that make it happen.
You have reached a great level in your artwork as per the side bar. Although this particular design is not my cup of tea I can still see how clever and well executed it is. Congrats!
hello guys, i just came from a game (football), and just seeing this shirt up for sale, took my backaches away,, haha just wanted to share to you my love for Starwars that i have since i was kid and as a collector of tin cans:)for those of you who like thank you!! :D

i really dig the top side art... i dont know if im missing the reference because I dont know the person in it, but i think the art is great and like that at first glance it like an abstract piece. I would be down for a print of that
I don't dislike explodious bacterious shirts per se, but I just feel like a couple of the ones that have been feautured here lately are just black shirts with an image smack in the middle of it. Somehow that just makes it look cheaper to me, like something you'd pick up in a souvenir shop along with a hot dog.
I actually like the design, the idea is somewhat funny and it is well drawn, but the placement and black background makes it more boring. Also, I'm not a big Star Wars fan, so I wouldn't be able to wear it with pride. Anyway, I'm not saying "GIMME ANOTHER ART WEEK", I just wish there were more of the nice, art-like poppy cultural prints here.
The mints are done well but them being just slapped onto a black shirt is bleh. Maybe something done behind the mints like a Stormtrooper holding them in his hand and giving like a "Pow" with his hand out showing them off. Just a suggestion to make it look better.
No denying the artistic ability though. Side art is very well done.

People who keep saying Enough with the star wars shirts. If you don't like what's here, keep it to yourself. I know if I was an artist who got something featured here, and people said "OMGGGG.. NOT ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE!" it would nott feel good at all. :\
hey Zero, nicely done again! got all 3 of your print from DBH and they're mean bro! this tee's not really my style, but it's gonna make an awesome gift. ordered it!...
you know what would be cool? if teefury organized itself and made it so like three days of the week were for spoofalicious shirts, three days of the week were for 'artsy', design-based shirts, and then the seventh day of each week could be like 'wildcard day' or something.
this way, everyone can be happy and there won't be a million complaints every day about shirts being too spoofalicious-based or too artsy or sanctimonious complaints about the complaints or whatever.
that said, this particular design is well-executed but i'm sick of the spoofalicious shirts. :P

I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but I can say that the work and time put into this design really shows. This is a very clever concept, the execution is superb and the attention to detail is just ... stunning, really. At first I thought that it was an actual photo because the detail on the tin case looks incredibly realistic. Like our friend Chewy has carried this tin around through quite a bit of battles. I'd make some witty Star Wars reference here, but for the life of me can't think of any.
I think someone mentioned above about this looking like it belonged on www.thinkgeek.com, and I agree. You should market the idea to them -- they'd eat it up! I know they have zombie mints on there...and they sell. Trust me. *guilty face*
hey thanks fuzzy! and thank you all! it makes my heart a little warm inside..iam enjoying the diversity of the comments and the exposure... for those who got my "till death do us part" design last time, if you can show me a pic of you wearing it i can give a free dbh shirt:) just try to look cool with it hahaha... i might give a special price for those who bought this tee..and its just a photo away..cheers!!!
Honestly it took me a while to answer this interesting question, a picture of my previous job interview flashed in my head, where I was all nervous and excited. I know this is not my first interview but Teefury is some place to be known. Also this one is more exhilarating because you have the whole world to know about you.
Some people say, to describe oneself is to know how other people see you. But some things are not always accurate. So to tell you a bit about me, I would say what my friends would call me…”The Dreamer”, that I have this high ambition in life and is always working to fulfill it. But I say, I just want to be rich and make more people happy..J Others say I am gifted and talented, but all I did was to impress my girl with my little sketches :D
Perhaps the certainty here is that I am just simple and real with some essential needs in life and what else would someone do but to make use of what has been given to him.
What's a day in the life of zb like?
Alarm is set at six sharp, wakes up at half past seven and sleeps back for thirty minutes more. Checks the internet for forty minutes before hitting the shower and then play with my little kid Nio while taking my breakfast. Goes to work in a clinic and treat some patients (humans). On a short break, I draw some designs from my recent encounters. (like an editorial artist) Chat with some friends for some business prospects. Goes home late and sleeps for eight hours straight while listening to some Nirvana music.(repeat)
It sounds like a bore but the whole time I am constantly thinking of my inspiration and visualizing what would be my next blueprint..:D Also I work-out every time I remember it and watch old time favorite movies when I think I have that much time to waste. I only know you from the internet, emails, and forums, but I can tell that you are one of the most positive artists around, how do you do it? Do you just generally have a positive disposition?
Hahaha..I just learn to be happy most of the time…I am an optimistic person and is constantly saying yes with an affirmative smile. Since I normally treat patients, a dose of laughter has always been my best medication given to them. Also being positive never failed to make me feel good. Also whatever you do or say in the internet, the internet keeps it...who knows I might run for president so I should watch my attitude..hahaha..
Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. ~Anthony J. D'Angelo, The College Blue Book
Do you own a lot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite?
Ohh.. I got a ton of shirts, my cabinet is overflowing with t-shirts from the internet. But I gave most of them to my friends and cousins last Christmas, they are the best gift I could giveJ My recent favorite is the” The Wild Band by xiaobaosg and “Modern Cartoon” by Jublin after wearing “Swing to the Music” like almost everyday. Also "‘Till Death do us Part" has been my Saturday night Shirt. :D
How did you get into art?
I came from a family of artist, con-artist, make-up artist, you name it :D Since the time that I was able to hold a chalk my grandparents never had a break from cleaning the walls in the house after I doodled on them. I got into the University of San Carlos and graduated my degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising just to realize I have to be a nurse to fulfill my dreams. And since my love for designing has been in my system creating art has been a way of life.
What would be your dream job?
To be an art director of DBH and Teefury. If you have some openings ping me! :D
I could start as an assistant, and be the corporate nurse at the same time. Hey I am serious.
What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?
Never stop dreaming. But you have to be awake to fulfill them.
MAC or PC?
Always wanting a Mac but is pushing my PC to the edge.
Any shout outs?
I am applying for a profession at Teefury and this has been my job interview. :D
If you like my art please join in my facebook and get updated with my latest designs check it on my site www.zerobriant.com. Thanks Jim and thank you all.

Star Wars ROCKS!!!!...besides the Anatomy of an AT-AT...I think this one is GREAT!
I wish we could have the "Return of the T-shirt" Month, in which old shirts are brought back and each week would be a theme.

Click on the image. ORDER! I got one for a friend of mine (that I've stated earlier in today's postings. It's just that 50% of half the people that come here don't read much up on the list of things to read that are in this little boxes and stuff.
So, made it easy! Woohoo!
ZerioBriant is everywhere! Shirt of the month at DBH!
NICE JOB!
It's called "Death By Stealth"
Click it! BUY IT!
WTF. I've only been here since 7/28/09?

People who keep saying Enough with the star wars shirts. If you don't like what's here, keep it to yourself. I know if I was an artist who got something featured here, and people said "OMGGGG.. NOT ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE!" it would nott feel good at all. :\

this way, everyone can be happy and there won't be a million complaints every day about shirts being too spoofalicious-based or too artsy or sanctimonious complaints about the complaints or whatever.
that said, this particular design is well-executed but i'm sick of the spoofalicious shirts. :P

I think someone mentioned above about this looking like it belonged on www.thinkgeek.com, and I agree. You should market the idea to them -- they'd eat it up! I know they have zombie mints on there...and they sell. Trust me. *guilty face*
