Tell us about this design: Well, I've wanted to draw some building. So, I've drawn a church. Then, since I like drawing weird characters, I've drawn a big abstract guy. Then, I felt lonely for him, so I've hidden a lot of secret friends in the scene, but I guess the big guy only wants to eat them. Sad!

Tell us about yourself: Well, I'm a young lad living in the South of France, I've just finished my school and now I need to find some nice work to do ! Besides that, I'm looking for the diamond of Coocoo-peel, which is to be found in the Hidden Head of Popo. Quite normal.

What's a day in the life of Apthe like? Hahaha ! It's actually not that fascinating, I'm almost staying at home all day working on stuff, then sometimes, I'm lurking in the streets at night to shave kittens and yell at my own nails.

Do you own alot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite? Oh god, I've got too many t-shirts I must say ! It's hard to pick, but my favorites these last days was Matt Furie's Eyes in the Dark, from the Threadless Select serie. And The Best Friends by Joulu from DBH !

How did you get into art? It was like 4 or 5 years ago. Drawing seemed to be the one thing I was liking at that time, so I went in some school, and it was just perfect !

Are you a full time artist by trade? Yes, or at least I try ! It's hard to begin from almost nothing and try to build some identity on your own. I've got some projects going on, and I hope it will lead me somewhere !

What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? Was
there a specific title you liked most of all? As a kid, I was mostly in good ol' european comics, like Tintin or Spirou. And I was spending too much time on videogames. Ah ! My sweet Atari St !

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers? Well, it could be some cruel advice, but try to be as hard as you can with yourself. If you're thinking all your stuff is more or less sh**, you'll improve way faster than feeling good about it !

MAC or PC? PC, because of my teenage geek years. Classic.
