really nice colors and their usage in the design, but it feels kind of hipster "i'm gunna wear a shirt w/ a musician on it who i don't actually listen to!"

that said, i blame the hipsters, not the design. i'll sleep on it and see if i can't reconcile this pickle...

I'm not a hipster. The closest I can get to being a hipster is having a tumblr.

From a graphic pov, the circles and colors are an interesting mix that make the shirt attractive on a person. So those that say, "Oh the design is bad. I don't like the shirt."...well, I'm sure that the Dancin Stars tee is coming out soon for you folk.

Awesome! Hendrix has been one of my all time favorite artist for years. The design is interesting, i definitely feel its a very modern flashy style, which is an interesting combo with Hendrix, yet the colors and the rings somewhat have the psychedelia feel

And finally a reference on a shirt thats not Dancin Stars, Dancin track, misplaced or some $#!^ internet phenomena.

Why is the girl's color always better?

Why is it that every design that is totally awesome on cream or white gets printet on banana for girls?!
I'm still sad about that over-caffeinated bunny from a few weeks ago.
Please, teefury, keep in mind that yellow is not a suitable color for every girl. In fact, some of us are looking rather ill and ready to throw up wearing yellow.

It would be great if the shirt color was an integral part of the design, color-wise. Maybe the art colors and the shirt color could "vibrate", like the green on red posters from the 60s.

It reminds me a little of a colleague's tee-shirt, emblazoned with Che Guevara. When asked by a workmate 'Who's that then?' the wearer had no idea, but knew it was a 'cool image'. Worse still when he was told who it was, he had no idea who the guy was, what the story is, etc.

Unfortunately, that's often happening with Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, etc. (though not always).

I feel the placement of the lines do not compliment the shape of the design. The solid green line right where the face is starting is causing a lot of tension.
Other than that well done. I love Jimmy Hendrix, but probably not enough to defend myself while wearing this shirt haha.

Not intentionally listened to him in ages and usually not up for dead artists on shirts as a rule but the colours have pretty much sold me on it.

Man that scares me. Why should people be wearing a face if they dont even know who it is? They could be supporting a number of evil things or ideas that are contrary to their beliefs. Anyways, I consider this a MAJOR improvement over the last hendrix shirt. I like the colors, but the fact that this image of his face is so common is a turn off for me. I am picky though. I've only found one Hendrix shirt that was worth buying to me and that was by luck on ebay. Even as an enormous hendrix fan, I wont be buying this one. But those are my two cents. But as the good man would say, "I dont give a $^%# if you boo, as long as you boo in key"

This actually looks kind of lazy to me. I'm sure the pattern was time-consuming and I do like the color, but the Hendrix photo is obviously live-traced.

I feel like it's kind of cheating, but at least it's got some nice patterned design quality to it instead of just a color.
