I really like the design, but the colors = Halloween (which is fine around Halloween but not so much for the rest of the year), and I've started to get spoiled by American Apparel shirts =\
I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but how much more would it cost for Teefury to print on AA?
I like the monkey design a lot but the "straight off the tutorial" look of the raster in the background kind of makes this meow :/
with another background this would be excellent. I love the color combination. There should be more black/yellow prints. kudos on everything else, but the raster! :)
it's a lot like "One Smart Monkey", http://www.uneetee.com/category/productInfo.asp?idx=198 and "Lions Are Smarter Than I Am" http://www.anothersite.com/product/765/Lions_Are_Smarter_Than_I_Am
Does it stimulate the pituitary gland or something when you point out that one shirt is like another? Because I'm starting to see it on nearly every single design. Yes, most designs are like many other shirts. I believe there is a (possibly apropos) saying about monkeys and typewriters that would help people understand this phenomenon. And so what if someone is stealing someone else's idea. It's the details that matter. If the shirt is an exact rip off then fine, I concede that it is wrong and I'm sure their shirt will be pulled down. But until then, settle down. And if you really like that 'other' shirt better, then by all means, go buy that one.
I know it doesn't really matter, but I drew this a pretty long time ago, and it has been on my site in the gallery since January 13th, 2008. I don't know if it was 1st, or last, but I can tell you I had never seen any of those other ones when I did it. It was sketched out during a meeting (a portrait of sorts of somebody in the meeting ;-)
Anyway, it is what it is, original or not, it's a chimpanzee wearing glasses. Thanks to everybody who purchased this one!

You don't have to defend yourself, your's is better than the rest!
I do see somewhat of a George Burns resemblance in this. I glanced yesterday when it was up, but didn't look at the side art until now. It is kind of funny that I decided to wear Trap for the first time tonight. It was a big hit with one of my coworkers so far. As soon as he saw me tonight he started cracking up and had to point out the shirt to another.
I like the side art a lot, but I have to hold off on begging for it to be printed because I need to slow way down on ordering.
So your TRAP design has become one of Teefury's record breakers. How was that for your first TF experience as an artist?
That was unreal. I wore out my mouse clicking refresh for 20 hours...I slept for about 4. I hadn't been a follower of Teefury, or any of the other tee shirt sites before that, now I'm addicted. There are SO many talented artists out there that have dedicated themselves to making t-shirts better. It's inspiring.
Did you think you would sell so many? I had no clue. My guess was somewhere between 40 and 60, so I was way off. I'm not so good with numbers...or letters.
We get alot of people asking about that design, did you put it up for sale anywhere?
Yes, I put it up on Redbubble. It's doing pretty well there, even though it doesn't have that sweet Teefury price tag.
What would the Tom Ledin of now say to the Tom Ledin of a decade ago?
"Dude, I'm going to give it to you straight, start working out now, there's nothing lovely about those handles. Secondly, get off your ass with making art, get serious about it now...less video games, more art. Fourthly, take a pay cut to do what you love NOW, it will be a lot harder to do down the road with a family and mortgage. And lastly, don't skate your miniramp on the 5th day after it's built to avoid a broken ankle.
I really like your answer to one of the questions in the last interview, so Im posting it. If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? I would become a full-time artist, and rent a really big studio, that I could fit a nice big halfpipe in. Then I would make art, art, and more art with a skateboarding break every hour or so. I would also probably put a futon in there, because skateboarding makes me sleepy. In reality, I'd probably make a little art in the morning, then skate, then get a burrito, and then sleep the rest of the day. God that sounds so good.
Recommend a product and short why.
This is a really tough question for me. There are a lot of things I like. I just IM'd my wife to ask her what products I like, and she said, "Beer, chips, and iphone", I can't have beer all the time, and while I do love chips, I don't actually eat them very often, and since it's the only specifically named product in that list, I'll have to go with the iphone. I don't know how I ever lived without it.
I would also recommend the internet, I think it's going to really catch on someday.
Shout out? Jimiyo/Teefury, you guys rule. Of course, my lovely family, Deniece, Tanner, Riley, Daisy (the Greyhound), and Gojira (the mutt). They are the reason I get out of bed each day.

The Star Wars "Trap" was printed about a month ago. And I desperately want that Tuskan Raider design to be printed. Like now.

Ugh, that place is such trash.
It's most certainly not serious. Perhaps I should have said "not serious" religious shirts.
