How did you get into art?

I have a video of the exact moment actually, for my 6th birthday I got a car drawing kit which was basically a lightbox with pencils a sliding ruler and car templates. From then on I would be obsessed with drawing and cars.

What would be your dream job?

Extreme sports instructor (skydiving and the like)

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?

Practice, pure and simple... the best artists in the world have found the passion to practice their craft every day. Also work traditional pen and pencil and brush and chisel, etc... Computers can do great things but any medium will make you rusty if you rely solely on one crutch.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or tales of intrigue? Do tell!

I am rather boring actually, I spend most of my time working on anything I can get my hands on... whether I'm building an 8ft tall 200lb bookshelf or attempting to create my own toy molds with no experience or guidance I seem to hit 50% of my goals. I live my life much like the famous Ralph Waldo Emerson quote: "Life is a journey, not a destination."
