I'll decide tomorrow morning when I'm done being bewitched by the moon's halo.
I know, right?? =D
Anyway! I think you did the guys a real disservice by not letting them sport daisy yellow, mickey-mouse themed sardonic social critique tees, too.
Otherwise, I love your design, I love your side art, I *love* your portfolio, and if I were a more inappropriate person, I would express an inappropriate sentiment of affection towards yourself, based solely on your artistic prowess.
Oh wait, I am an inappropriate person... *innocent face*
(Hey kids! Fun fact! Did you know the word 'sardonic' comes from the Greek word 'sardonion', which was a Sardinia plant, which, when eaten, causes facial convulsions resulting in disturbing laughter, and ultimately death? =D)
i'm a personal fan of the yellow, too! but unfortunately we don't have guys shirts in yellow. the closest to it would be a cream. i think the heather grey will look nice in person, though, with the textures of the fabric contrasting the art!
I like it, however, I'm not sure I'd buy it just based on the simple fact that I know people would ask me what is going on with the design and to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't know what to say. lol.
Artist Scott Robinson offers a design which is both inciteful and masterfully executed. The grunge texturing against the crisp linework is just darn attractive!
Tell us a little bit about this design.
This design is a satirical reflection of the give and take between children and television.
And yourself?
I`m a skateboarder and scribbler at heart, and have had the good fortune to combine both loves.
How did you get into art?
I`ve been a scribbler for as long as I can remember, covering everything I own. It was natural progression to get into Graphic Illustration.
What are you influences?
My influences are primarily skate artists, but I`m a huge comic nerd too, so it all finds it way in somehow. Anything drawn is good by me!
