It's the "cut and paste" symbol thingy for Macs.

Thanks to the "ctrl+V" subtitle, the design is still PC-friendly.

Macintosh isn't really for me, but I am terribly fond of the "it's better as a van" t-shirt the artist has.

I will say, and I mean this in a good way. This shirt feels like a very strong shirt.woot design. Lately I've been noticing a very big difference in the "feel" of the two sites, this almost feels like a collab between the two. The great graphic design of teefury with the kitschy jokes of woot.

Cute idea! And it uses command no less! Macs ftw.

But for a split second I thought it was the IDIC symbol which would have been a huge ripoff but still pretty rad.

Excuse me? I take offense to that. I've been a Mac user my whole life and know a very large amount of hotkeys. I could almost go without a mouse.

as a mac user, i entered this page with the whole screen inverted (i.e. ctrl + option + command + 8) and i dug the shirt alot more in those colors. but it's cool in it's original version, just a little harder to decide if it's worth the buy

Funny -- I was just looking at today's woot shirt before checking over here, and I was thinking that it should be a teefury shirt, since it features a skull.

well since its not a skull or some 1998 tribal design...i love it. took me a while to get it but its super cute and funny. think i will purchase it when i get home.

I don't use a mac so I don't know that infinity-thingy symbol. but designer is crazy talented. good job!

I think some offset placement would be better. That RV thing on the side is awesome haha.

I don't think it's too mac-centric. It's just that the command symbol is more visually appealing than ctrl. It has the PC subtext anyways.

I think it's very important for the artist to hear a variety of different opinions on the shirt, and not just hear that people bought it. It's a legitimate comment on the design.

I AGREE, I am a photographer and a graphic artist. Without hotkeys, illustrator and photoshop would take centuries to navigate. BTW there are a few amazing hot keys that I just learned for the mac today because of this thread.

as one who designs graphic tees for a living, i use this hotkey an infinite number of times a day. love the tee... just bought it!

IMHO, glue and paste are two different animals. I would NEVER eat glue. It should be more of a cylindrical container with a removable brush/cap. Clever idea, though.

Paste and glue might have different bottle shapes but it's still close enough for anyone with half a brain to make the connection and get it. From a design standpoint, the glue bottle is much more easily recognizable than a paste tub. I can see why he made the decision to go with the former instead of the latter.

I didn't get it until I saw the ctrl+V at the bottom and suddenly remembered my Mac days. Very interesting, very phallic, and good use of the keyboard shortcuts. :)

the side art on the right with the sun is sick and messy...I LOVE IT!
dont know how you would get that on a t shirt but get it made so please, maybe the bottom half of the body is on a pair of shorts :D
