    cool, but no thanks.
  • tetchysaid 130 weeks ago

    Sort of creepy.
  • EvilAshesaid 130 weeks ago

Looks more like Don Knotts than a caricature. Sorry, Don Knotts.
  • mrwednesdaysaid 130 weeks ago

Why is Nick Saban on a shirt?
  • sfarbotasaid 130 weeks ago

Hunter S. Thompson is definitely my favorite of Randy's celebrity portaits.
  • serpicosaid 130 weeks ago

    LOVE the art.. defiently buy

Love this shirt. Just makes me more sad that I missed out on the Hunter S. Thompson shirt though. My absolute favorite shirt to be printed here and I missed it. If anyone has a large (or medium) Hunter S to spare I'd be super duper gratefuly.

These sketch things creep me out, honestly.

    HAIL SABAN!
  • klarescsaid 130 weeks ago

nice design, but not my jam.

Einstein would be very cool... Springsteen would be pretty awesome as well.

Randy does incredible caricatures, but this one falls a bit short for me. It looks a lot like him, but it also looks a bit like other people too. I totally saw a bit of Don Knotts when the image first came up.

Sorry, but today is a "no go" for me.
  • rpiorsaid 130 weeks ago

this is amazing in an I'd be proud to put this on my wall kind of way. Unfortunately, i wouldn't wear it on a shirt. :(
  • wondermilksaid 130 weeks ago

There's a Beethoven-like vibe to this one...I quite like it.

I'm a Johnny Cash fan, but I had to read the side to confirm that is was actually him on the shirt.

    EXACTLY!!!
  • dudley53said 130 weeks ago

It's so easy to recognize this as Johnny Cash. It's pretty cool.
  • daveconreysaid 130 weeks ago

This is so cool. I just wish the image was a bit smaller on the shirt.
  • Bielowsaid 130 weeks ago

could be johnny cash, too. but the eyes are too big.
  • Bielowsaid 130 weeks ago

now i confirmed that it actually is a johnny cash-shirt. i would love a cool shirt with johnny cash, but i don't really like this.
  • Nicnik3said 130 weeks ago

    wow, nice drawing, thats amazing!
  • Tumsaid 130 weeks ago

  • skonen_bladessaid 130 weeks ago

And yet people are still discussing the (lack of) side art.
  • twilshiresaid 130 weeks ago

Don Knotts. That's money. I admire the Thompson, Dylan and Nelson examples but this one just misses the mark. I am an avid Cash fan. I'm pretty darn sure that he did not suffer from a hypothyroid condition.
  • twilshiresaid 130 weeks ago

Duhhhh...I mean hypERthyroid condition. 2:00 a.m. and I'm running on fumes. Sing me to sleep Johnny. Let's start with "Big River" tonight.
  • Evirusaid 129 weeks ago

i need another dylan shirt, mate!

    ...i missed the first one...
  • 308NATOsaid 129 weeks ago

Fantastic...!!! - The Dark Lord of Music.... Delia ...Oh Delia...
  • play_ksaid 129 weeks ago

Don Knotts would be smiling. Johhny Cash is appropriately brooding.
  • johndelaysaid 129 weeks ago

nice work, but who is this guy?

also, Springsteen or Bob Dyan would be awesome!

Bob dylan is on the side links!
Not as awesome as the others i've seen. I think i'd rather just trade someone for the dylan one.
  • lolztuffsaid 129 weeks ago

p.s. You should do a Jack Kerouac caricature!
  • angelateesaid 129 weeks ago

I really want the Dylan shirt.. Bring it baaaaaackkk!!!
  • hammer14said 129 weeks ago

would love to buy this. but am fearing the shirt quality hasn't changed and the shirt will go from being long enough for my 6'5" frame to barely long enough for a 6'-er after i wash it once. i'll probably stick with the DbH shirts. although, i really like cash.....
  • hammer14said 129 weeks ago

and if you are a fan of johnny cash, you should have no problem identifying him on this shirt. don knotts? really? nick saban? just because it doesn't look like joaquin phoenix.....
  • Talossaid 129 weeks ago

At first glance it appeared to be Don Knotts, Ronald Reagan, a beardless Abraham Lincoln, and Johnny Cash all rolled up into one big WTF? Just can't see getting this one, sorry.

Uhura McGee said: I'm a Johnny Cash fan, but I had to read the side to confirm that is was actually him on the shirt.

It's not even Johnny Cash. Did no one read that it's Joaquin Phoenix?

As for a Springsteen shirt, please; NO BS!
  • HeyReputahsaid 129 weeks ago

i know people always complain about the design being too big but i kind of think it's too small today? is that weird?

i have randy's dylan shirt and the print is HUGE and i looooove it!!!

i think they were being sarcastic? notice the ...? at the end of the sentence. oh, jimiyo, you and your shenanigans.
  • dudley53said 129 weeks ago

Not sure if this is cool, but I think Teefury and Designbyhumans are friendly to each other. There's a big sale at Designbyhumans that started late last night, I guess. We'll see if this post makes it through.
  • jesika985said 129 weeks ago

    Dylan is definitely the best
  • KIDA26said 129 weeks ago

Nowhere near as good as Kruger's work. As much as I love Cash, I can't see myself wearing this. The HST shirt was waaaay better.
  • sdimmsaid 129 weeks ago

Looks nice but want something cleaner :)
  • xfelixsaid 129 weeks ago

    bought it!
  • kizatsaid 129 weeks ago

I love Randy's work... He's an incredible artist.

are any of his caricatures printed for posters?
  • Tom Ledinsaid 129 weeks ago

I can't see how anybody who claims to be a fan of Johnny Cash can have trouble identifying this as him.

Of course there is some artistic license, but it's still very clear who it is.

I went to a JC concert in Southern California with my family when I was 8, around 1978 . I learned the F-word from him. Thanks Johnny!
  • shutts67said 129 weeks ago

Am I the only one that sees James Dean?
  • Tom Ledinsaid 129 weeks ago

James Dean died when he was 24.
  • jakejh02said 129 weeks ago

not james dean at all, but definitely johnny cash.

  • libra1019said 129 weeks ago

I would love to own a Johnny Cash shirt, but I guess in my mind I always imagined him older with smaller eyes and a more chubby face. I'll think about it until tonight.

I heard this joke from somewhere else that you can compare the song Ring of Fire to Ringworm. :D

Why is Don Knotts on a shirt titled Popular Music 2?

It's cool, but definitely "knott" my style.

Come back with the fun, colorful tees, TF!!
  • riproarsaid 129 weeks ago

It looks like Dean Martin more than Don Knotts
  • 92fs_inoxsaid 129 weeks ago

Kinda hard to tell it's Johnny Cash. I dig the art style, though. I would love if you brought back Hunter, cuz I missed it when it was being sold. I hate myself for it : (
  • jpfurysaid 129 weeks ago

I rebuke jimiyo's statement "caricature rendering of Joaquin Phoenix"..
    This is obviously Johnny Cash.

@libra1019: Johnny Cash was skinny at a point in his career.

My Randy fave is the one I bought- http://teefury.com/archive/342/Popular%20Music%204
Being a Johnny Cash fan, if I had the cash I would buy this shirt as well.
