Me and my husband both LOL'ed to this shirt hard. But no black shirts for us!

I want to offer up a compliment of job well done with this shirt to preclude my gripe with the subject matter.

It just feels a bit odd that the Godfather get's a t-shirt homage in vector format, what's next, Scarface? I'm not a fan of this shirt after some particularly clever and amazingly executed shirt designers here in recent days.

Also, how is this not infringing upon the intellectual property of the company that owns the rights to The Godfather and it's likenesses. Wouldn't Teefury have to clear the rights to profit from the sale of the shirt with the movie studio?

I simply ask, because as a designer, we're often faced with such dilemmas of infringing upon or being infringed upon. Maybe someone can explain to me how this shirt is legal to sell?

I still want to see Jimiyo do some sort of space design since he's got a knack for making Marvel Comics Infinity Gauntlet style space. Seriously, if you do know what the frig I'm talking about look at some of Jimiyo's recent designs and then go read the Infinity Gauntlet. Very similar style. Old Marvel would approve.

Nobody's hating, man. Pretty much everyone reacted like you the first time they saw a jimiyo shirt... Just saying that this particular piece might not have been his best.

The Star Wars and Street Fighter shirts from the last two (ish) days were far more ingenious and amusing IMO.
This just looks like a generic Godfather shirt to 99.9% of people who'll see it. Somehow I don't think LolCats has the same level of cultural phenomenon enough to make the majority of people who see it get the joke.

Yeah, I've never seen the Godfather and I have no idea what that cat is from. I wish Teefury would offer shirts that do not spoof or reference something. At least, I wish they did it less. I'd like to see some art that has nothing to do with Star Wars or Internet trends.

I like the design of the shirt though. It is aesthetically pleasing.

Awesome. I've never seen Godfather, and I've never heard of "NEDM cat", but everytime I look at this I laugh, and it also looks awesome. Extra points for Jimiyo showing some versatility. The juxtaposition of the illustrated Brando and that photo-realistic silly cat is just too funny, haha.
