Hmm. Looks a lot like the Veni Vidi Vici from a while ago. Skulls and filigree isn't my style. It's a nice drawing, though.

i love the lion on the side.

That lion is rockin'. Kind of get a generic feel off of this tee though. Great amount of detail in it, can't deny.

I remember the lion. This shirt is not my style and I think it would have done better on a different color.

Sculls/skeleton artwork on T's are usually lame, but this is pretty KHAAAAAAAN cool. I love the little details. Buying it first thing tomorrow. :)

it is a cool design, im just saying, if they used darth vader helmets instead of the skulls, and lightsabers instead of the knifes... thatd be uber sweet.

I know people are always bitching about black shirts but this one probably would have popped a lot more ona different color tee... Still, I might snag one, I think it's pretty sweeeet looking. Only thing (which is a minor minor obscure blablabla gripe) I'm not super keen on are those 3 lightning bolt/claw shapes near the skulls themselves... Still though, I'm diggin ittttt

I have that one. Made out of sandpaper it is. As for this..... MORE SKULLS! WTF TF! Lol teasin. Pretty cool though. So instead of being a Suicide King he's like the Murder King? Also I think that that side robot should be fighting the Hulk. :D Nice print.

Oh and I like the charcoal color with this.

I agree but I think that's why this looks good. It's like a faded tee look that goes good with the faded life on the tee. Eh?

Love the side art, especially the robot.

I love the concept. Have been trying to figure out my take on the King Card myself for a long time. I have many decks of cards, especially different jokers and Royalty in my oddball collection of things. Got back just recently one of my most favorite Decks of Cards that wasn't appreciated as being a gift. Must have meant to belong to me :)

Got it... It's the faded look it had on the shirt instead of the brilliant boldness from the art below the shirts.
Man. What was the choice on that? Surprised. The fade lost it for me.

I could also do without the lightning bolts. However I'll pick one up. I'd also buy any of the sidebar designs, especially the Lion either in black/grey, or tan/brown.

Teefury you have to release that side art of wolverine and hulk as a shirt if that's possible!!!!!!!!!

Terific detailed work. It just doesn't grab me as far as wearing it on a shirt. The skulls look too much like weird apes with big teeth.

I'm just going to throw it out there, but I feel like a lot of the shirts lately have been black or dark gray. I really like this artwork and congrats of the print, I'm just disappointed that it's dark. I have too many black shirts! I'm sorry! D:

Huh? I'm confused why you said this.

I love the Charcoal, I wish the original art would have
stayed original. This faded to grey (IMO) doesn't do the
detail of the original design justice at all. The contrast is
just lost. I'm so bummed. Tho, putting it on charcoal with
the original non faded colors might have gone over the total
amount of colors?

I LOVE this artwork! I would prefer, however, for this to be stark white art on black, but I know many people are tired of black shirts, so that is not a big deal.

I love the diagonal lines and flow of the image, but since it represents a card, I feel that it should not be tilted.

The thing keeping me from purchasing this, though, is the size of the image on the shirt. It's just too overbearing on the girlie shirt.

Hope the feedback helps. The art, sharpness of details, tightness of the design as a whole, and the flow of the lines throughout the image are amazing and very well done!

Cool design, not at all digging the placement or color of the shirt. It doesn't seem like it should be tilted.

Loving this print, really. I think the color for the shirt works very well with it too, despite what some people said. Not sure if i would wear it or not, but only because of the skull/knife combo is not really my style. Epic art, though.

Sweet Design... Aggressive and Sharp...

I'm usually against skull shirts on black, but this was almost my first Teefury purchase.

Would have been better if:
* it were seamless between the reverse images, like regular face cards
* it didn't have the lightning bolts
* the teeth didn't jut out so far and look like an ape.

Great design though.

How is it that I've been on here ten times today to see if I want to buy this shirt, and it only dawns on me an hour before a new one comes out that this isn't a black tee, but a charcoal one- did the color change today, or did I start drinking too soon?

Thank you sooooo much sanseref! I have been a fan of this site for a while now, and the majority of the comments I have seen have been "No more skulls" or "I hate Starwars" or "another black shirt". It's amusing to say the least. Your comment shows me that there are people that visit this site, as I do. I look at the shirt of the day with a critical eye, a designers eye. Your comment is intelligent and helpful, not lazy, or spiteful.

This site is a great oportunity for designers to get noticed. It's not a popularity contest like some sites. That's why I like it. The curator just finds something he/she thinks people will enjoy. Some are hits, some are misses for me, but that is the thing, I don't have to buy.

Please, more chat about the industry, the technical, or the friendly critique. Less chat about personal likes or dislikes. Talk about the design. Back up your statements with some reasoning.

I will now hop off the soapbox, and await tomorrows tee!

Well I bought this and I like the charcoal because of the fact that if it was on a black tee, it would look too much like a Guns N Roses teeshirt. Lol! At least that's how I look at it if it were indeed on black.

hmmm. i like this shirt. although i read that skulls are so 2006 and the new trend is crosses. and all this about the prints being over size...well i love it. once again big prints are very in. doesnt anybody read fashion magazine. Love the shirt, hate the skulls. i totally see like a chola wearing this with some dickies.

The print may not be oversized for a guy, but for a girl tee, there are things to be um... aware of. I like this Tee, the charcoal gives it an old t-shirt look and I like the design of cards and skulls in general, but this T would look distorted on me :/
