Tell us the background of this design.
This design was created by using the stylized stencil technique made famous by Shepard Fairey's Obama "Hope" Poster. So after seeing James Lillis's "Joke" design, which parodied the "Hope" poster; I wanted to take on the challenge of creating a parody design for the first time. Like so many others, I was anxiously waiting for the watchmen movie to release and felt it was a perfect time to use Rorschach in my design.
Your SFL did really well as a first time submission to Teefury. How was the experience?
This was the greatest experience I have ever had as a designer. The entire process was amazing from beginning to end. The interview was funny and allowed me to share myself with the Teefury community. Reading the critiques and learning from them gave an invaluable amount of knowledge on what society is looking for in style and design. I couldn’t stop checking the sales tracking website on my phone. I was refreshing it every chance I got. This has also helped expose me as a designer to a market that, by myself, I would never be able to reach. Teefury has helped me in so many ways that I could never show enough gratitude. Thank-you Teefury.com.
"Aside from enjoying being a newlywed, I play video games." What games do you play? What's your favorite top three of all time, all consoles.
I try to play every game I can possibly get my hands on. But I would have to say adventure games are my favorite genre. A good story line in a video game is like reading a book or watching a movie while being the character also interests me. My favorite games are as follows:
1. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (Series) Playstation 1 & 2
It’s the best adventure game I have ever played. You play as a half zombie half vampire bent on revenge. The voice casting is some of the best around. It’s just an all around entertaining experience. I liked it so much that MTVU interviewed me about my obsession with the series, filmed me get the main character tattooed on my right arm. Then let me be the first to play the third game I the series. The tattoo just adds to the geeky Playstation controller buttons tattooed to my wrists.
2. IQ (Intelligent Cube) Playstation 1
It’s a rare and hard to find a Playstation One puzzle game. I was introduced to it as a demo but I eventually played the game until the disk melted. I am still hunting one down that doesn’t cost a ridiculous amount of money.
3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Prestige Edition) Xbox 360
First off, it came with night vision goggles. So before I even played the game, it was fun to walk around my house in the dark. The game is simply beautiful. On and offline it’s a masterpiece.
If money was not a concern, and you didn't have to have a job, what
would you do?
I would travel the world with my wife. We would explore every inch of earth, experience every culture known to mankind and eventually grow old knowing we have done everything possible there is to do in life.
What is Arnold Schwarzenegger's best movie role ever? Once you answer this, it will become common knowledge and absolute truth, and no one shall ever deny it.
CONAN!!! (Both films) That movie was bodacious. No CGI crud every other scene. Pure 100% BRUTAL Entertainment. They don’t make real movies like Conan any more. I love a revenge story when a slave gets his home boys together, bashes evil and lives to tell the tale. I’m going to watch it tonight.
If you were stranded on an island, would you want to be on the Lost Island, Gilligan's Island, or the realm of Dungeons and Dragons with Verger always hounding you?
Gilligan’s Island. For one reason and one reason alone, Ginger. That’s why I married a red head. Gingers… it’s where it’s at.
Any interesting things ever happen to you? Like be on ‘Wheel of Fortune’?
I was on webRIOT, the MTV game show, in the late 90’s and won the grand prize that consisted of a one week trip to Hawaii. I was also featured in Playstaion Magazine Euro edition for a Resident Evil 4 Munny I created. You know the usual stuff…
Any shout outs?
To my beautiful wife, Jamie, I love you.

I second his second. Enough of the Obama shirts. As creative as they may seem, they're all pretty much the same. (But the Watchmen are pretty awesome)
