If you're a LOST fanatic like I am, you've been waiting for a shirt like this for a while. So carefully, punfully crafted, while still maintaining the refined aesthetic expertise known from artist Ian Leino. How many references can you spot?

How did you get into art?

I got my first box of 64 crayons (with the built in sharpener) when I was 4, and have had some creative implement in my hand ever since. Even now, I'm actually typing this using two pencils.

My parents are both creative and they encouraged and critiqued my art from a young age, which gave me the freedom to pursue what I enjoyed but also pushed me to improve, both of which are necessary to grow a decent artist. Thanks Mom and Dad!

What would be your dream job?

Being a freelance designer has been a great job, and I honestly can't imagine one that I would enjoy more. Although being a stunt driver for the movies seems like a pretty awesome job, too.  Hmm, or perhaps a host for one of those world travel shows.

What advice would you offer to aspiring designers?

Expose yourself to as much art and as many ideas as you can.  So much of creativity is either building on the work of others or combining older ideas in new ways, and the more you've seen, the more varied the building blocks you have to work with yourself.

MAC or PC?

Not to be a fanboy, but Mac all the way. Maybe it's because I studied computer science in college and now have a healthy loathing of PCs, or maybe the Mac just fits my brain better.  After 5 years of being in a Mac only environment, the other day I tried to use a PC for something more complex than web browsing, and felt like the uncomprehending apes being confronted with the monolith at the beginning of 2001.

I think all of the cool sites about good art/design have already been covered by previous artists, so here are a few of my favorites that showcase the... umm, less successful side of creativity, and never fail to make me smile:

Any shout outs?

To my wonderful wife, who constantly motivates and encourages me. My becoming a freelancer was her idea, and without her support I'd still be stuck in a low-paying job that I didn't enjoy, not to mention single and lonely. She's a lifesaver and an inspiration.
