Groovy "rad" style for sure. The Fishbowl head reminds me of Earthworm Jim. Dig the skull with hair too, this one's funny and has cool colors but I am broke as a joke. But I'm not laughing =/
not happy with the quality of shirt i received last time i bought one (I had the green "RAAAAR" shirt). It seemed like a thin cotton blend type that they sell in hot topic. Will future shirts be the same quality? I've been happy with my shirts till now :P

Really? I've bought about 5 shirts from this site and every time it's the same horrific low-quality, itchy and thick "beefy tee"-ish fabric. I really wish teefury would go thew teextile route and bump their shirts up to 15 bucks and print on a higher-quality tee, a couple of my purchases would switch from "maybe" to "of course I want this!" if they did since I really have to love the design if i'm gonna be in an uncomfortable shirt all day.
stablercake said: Am I the only one that's satisfied with the quality for the price I pay? :|
Good call stablercake! $11 total is a great price point. Take care of the $11 shirt, the $11 shirt will take care of you. I got a $25 shirt from DBH and had to ask for my money back. The heavy ink coverage on the see-through tee was not worth the money.
(I did get my money back due to the fact that the ink printed over the seams peeled off when I took it out of the bag. The shirt itself was sewn together crooked, making the whole thing ridiculously off-set.)
teextile may have used AA in the past but im sure they use A1style now

you know, just having skeletor in the name can be considered infringement
I love this site, I really do. Check it religiously first thing every morning but I need to say this. Enough with the pop culture references already. Please.
I studied illustration for 4 years but never pursued it so I come here to live vicariously through these wonderful and talented artists. I have bought 3 tees from here already and every time I wear one I get wonderful compliments. But please, enough with the pop culture references, enough with halloween designs, humor tees which can be found at JC Penny's and enough, enough with STAR WARS tees. I know the curator likes to cater to a healthy mix of tastes but where are the beautiful, original art tees. Not referencing any nostalgic pop culture references.
I don't comment a lot because if I don't like a tee I just move on with my day but I just needed to get this off my chest. There are those who in their mid 20s who do not like to don R2D2 humor. Nothing against those that too, wear what you love, that's the beauty of art but just think of those that come here for mind blowing original designs more often. Thank you.
Hmm.... so far I've only purchased 1 shirt from this site. Patiently awaiting something super incredible before I get another. I see a lot of clever t's here, but I'm just not digging the designs lately. This Skeletor one is sorta funny for sure, but I'd sooner put it up as a poster.
That goat on the side is wicked tho - woulda purchased that without hesitation.
There have been some awesome tees since I found this site...but nothing that I would actually wear :( would be nice to have some more 'girly' designs? Something that would be okay to wear to work? :)
stablercake said: Am I the only one that's satisfied with the quality for the price I pay? :|
Obviously these need to be gilded and covered in diamonds for 9 bucks. Don't you know these things?
I've actually never had an issue with the quality, I was actually pretty impressed the first time I got a shirt.

I prefer variety. I can understand if you really wanted to buy a shirt over 300 times a year from here, but... seriously. To complain about a shirt here, just blows my mind.

Girly is.. different in so many peoples opinion. Just be patient, live life and keep checking.
Hey. I have a beautiful sorta girly Tshirt that I have been saving as a gift. Want it?
I too have been disappointed by the pop culture shirts recently. I'm sure they sell well, which is why teefury keeps putting them up.
I mean, look at this.

This was about a year ago, and i count six pop culture references. And a few of those aren't even popular "geek" culture (such as poe or lincoln) like i've seen so many times here. (i'm looking at you, star wars.)
Compare this to the most recent page.

There are 15, many of which are very cartoony-looking and not as artistic as the above. While there are quite a few regular shirts that I love (like indifferent peapod, till death we sail, and elephat) you can't deny there has been an influx of cartoonish pop culture shirts.
Please teefury, don't turn into anothersite. Go back to your roots. Maybe do a week or even a month with no pop culture shirts and see how sales go? It's an idea.
And my input on today's shirt.
While it is well done and artistic, i think the whole idea of skeletor/thundercats/voltron/campy cartoons we watched as children is overdone.
This being said, i would love a few more music-related shirts on here. That bob dylan caricature from a while ago is one of my favorites on the site!
Hi Guys!
I'm really excited to have my shirt for sale on teefury today. It's great to see so many opinions on the stuff that I make. I don't get a chance to talk to folks about it very much, & it is nice to see people offer up their opinions so freely.
I guess I probably should have taken the interview a little more seriously, my lady friend was not impressed with my interview answers. If you really want to know more about me, send me an email. I'm open to answering anything, ANYTHING!. geordan at whostolemybike.com
Nice. Though I was more excited when I thought it said "Chibi Skeletor" I have an icon of a cute Skeletor I found online and would love a shirt with it on there.

I just got sad cus I was looking at my Skeletor shirt and decided it's one of my favorites. I don't mind the beefy fabric so much.
All the shirts I've bought have been fine .-.
I'm talking about girls, if it makes a difference.
My only problem with them is they seem to be designed for someone with wider hips and kind of hit me there weirdly.
I really dig this design, but it isnt' something I'd wear. I love the wood panels behind look like flames.
As to the griping about quality and price and all that- I have started having to buy two whenever I do, because I am afraid that if I wear one out I won't be able to get another- $10 a pop is awesome.
stablercake said: Am I the only one that's satisfied with the quality for the price I pay? :|
No, I'm not really at all... For whatever reason the shirts I buy from shirt.woot for one dollar (okay, maybe 2...) more last much longer and don't diminish in the wash. Maybe I'm a foolish post-grad college student nuking my clothing as I try to fumble with my washer's controls, but it's obvious to me that the print quality offered at that site opposed to this is far superior. It could also be the style of shirts that are printed on, as I've seen much controversy over what's printed on what lately.

Freedom to express opinions blows your mind? Just saying 8 star wars shirts in one month isn't exactly aiming for variety.
Words from jimiyo:I scoured the internet and found this golden piece of artwork! I knew immediately when I saw it, it would touch many hearts of ye old Teefurians!
Tell us about this design:It is just a sad, old, defeated and lonely Skeletor, staring off into forever. Tell us about yourself: You don't want to know. What's a day in the life of Geordan like? It is mostly thrills and chills. A little heavier on the chills. How did you get into art? I just never stopped being into art. What was your favorite as a kid: comics, cartoons, or movies? I read mainly peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes.
Was there a specific title you liked most of all? The entire Calvin and Hobbes catalog. What advice would you offer to aspiring designers? Just keep making stuff, no matter how stupid you think it is. Any shout outs? nope
