Words from jimiyo: Having participated in online artists communities for many years, I've seen artists come and go. Some that burn bright and then fall off the face of the planet. There are others that are like machines that crank out  pieces of art year after year all the while getting better and better. Missmonster is the latter.  If you follow her on twitter, you can tell that she's got some kind of OCD in the form of being an workaholic. There's nothing that's going to stop her. :D So go ahead and grab one of these shirts, so you can own a little piece of Missmonster, and years from now, when you see her in a magazine, tv show, or some art show, you can say, "Yeah, I got a shirt by her, from way back when..." She'll still be crankin it out.

Tell us about the design:  Saint Anthony goes out into the desert and gets tempted by all of these spirits..hey, what a great excuse to draw something totally nuts.I have always loved this theme and it's been around for hundreds of years and been done by numerous artists starting around the 10th century. I love that religious themed art has some of the most gnarly, cool looking demons/monsters in it.

Any neat/interesting experiences lately? John Landis (the director) bought a painting from me at Comic-Con. My jaw hit my chest after he left. He directed one of my all time favorite movies An American Werewolf in London, among other things. And i got to tell him that personally. Amazing.

Has your fanbase grown over the past year? Yes, and I am very thankful for this. Jimi, you helped! :)

What are the positives of being internet famous? Haha, im so NOT internet famous. Well, get too meet a lot of really cool fans and wow, people actually care about my art. That's nice! What I do is a dream job and I can't really do it without people out there supporting it.

What are the negatives? I have to suck it up/push down my emotions a lot and that's tough. Part of being kind of, sort of known online is that you read ignorant or nasty things about yourself occasionally, or sometimes people just do dumb/rude things or get way too forward with you...and i have to (try) and be a grown up about it and just keep on truckin'. It's hard for me to take BS from some faceless, random, internet person but iam getting better about it, haha. I'm not perfect and sometimes it all just piles up and i have to go have a beer or work over my punching bag.

Anything you want to promote? I have toys! Iam not sure how far along he will be by the time this makes it online but i have a new toy coming out.
