    This design reminds me a lot of Wall-E when he holds that plant in his hand and stares at it like it's the most amazing thing in the world! That being said, I like the idea as well, but not the design haha

    I'm pretty sure that's smoke. Like a car, or a train. It implies a steam or coal powered machine and contrasts with the plant, to me. Smell never entered my mind.

    i absolutely love the design! it's reminds me of the movie wall-e a little bit. :)

    i'm not so sure about the silver for me, it's awfully close to white. so i will have to wait and see.

    Alex, your work is impressive. Detailed, creative, clever... not exactly ivy-league adjectives I'm equipped with at the moment but I like the designs nonetheless. I agree that the pic posted showcases the silver shirt color much better (and the model is smokin'!) so good move there.

    I'm in for the Eco-Friendly shirt. I like the theme. Ignore the WALL-E comparisons. It's a good take on a timeless, ever-present, constantly-evolving idea.

    Also, that golden bird on purple is a wicked color combo and cool piece.

    As an addendum, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the smoke trails coming from the "robot." At first I didn't really pay attention to them, but after reading the comment mistaking the trails for implications of scent, I took another look.

    To me, the smoke trails are the weakest part of this design. They almost look like they don't belong, as if perhaps you added them after the rest was complete. Seems tacked-on, almost.

    On the other hand, if I consider the theme a bit more, I get a feeling of this "robot" being tired, letting off steam so to speak... Exhausted with his world yet hopeful. Another implication is the resiliency of this plant in spite of a clearly inorganic world... the robot cradling this plant all the while pollutants flow freely from its parts...

    Thus my opinion that if you ever modify this piece, subtract the number of less-detailed smoke trails, replacing with heavier, more pronounced smoke that billows and evokes the duality we're confronted with here.

    Sorry for the wall-o-text and for the nitpicky criticism. I have no idea what I'm talking about in the end. Still love the shirt, still buying. Thanks!

    Love it. One of the best I have seen since joining the community. It does remind me of Resilience, but there is enough difference to make it original while still having a similar meaning.

    I love it. A mech made from recycled parts looking at a plant. I bet everyone one who sees it will have a different take on what the message is. How about a steampunk design next, with lots of gears.

    Design is awesome, but I'm not sure about the shirt color. I like brighter, more catchy colors.
    The oil smoke is also a little odd/distracting. It doesn't look like smoke since it doesn't just trail off like that.
    For some reason, I love the top design on the side. It's fun to look at and makes me chuckle.

    Intense illustration. I'm a fan of the artwork, but for some reason can't see myself wearing this shirt. It may be that the color of the shirt doesn't go well with the design. Or perhaps that there is just so much to look at, and I don't want people staring at me, trying to understand what the design on my shirt means.

    You have a great style, all of the pieces are well done. This image reminds me (at least content-wise) of the Wotto piece featured awhile ago, with all of the junk under the surface and the leaf sprouting from the top of it...

    Ridiculously clean, and super sheen. I like the concept, and the illustration. But I don't think this is anything like wall-e, the concepts different. This design seems to be more about the irony of the massive polluting composite robot, actually NURTURING something that wouldn't benefit from its nature. It's awesome.
