this will go amazingly with my http://www.teefury.com/archive/422/Lion%20Guardant bought over the summer. new season, new colors, same lion/swirly that I love so much
Cool stuff, very detailed. This one's not for me, the rendering of the lion's face and the filigree mane is a little disjointed, but the color is nice.
But with your name I can't help but see it now as ONE ANGRY TRIBBLE which is pretty hilarious :U
I wish I had thought of this...I really like the idea of the mane transforming into leaves. I would like to have seen more fall colors in the leaves. I really like the style of the leaves. But the style of the face doesn't really match the style of the leaves.
Bought--like the design overall, but wondering about the placement. Curious how that mouth is going to look stretched over a more curvaceous endowment than the stick girl model is sporting...
Seriously though, doesn't it appear that both of our now standard shirt models have roughly the same cup size?

yeah, really.
and mr. tribble: amazing, amazing, amazing stuff. all of it.
i like the design a lot...but yeah. sorry. those colors just turned it off for me. i'm just not a fan of brown...ever really. the detail and everything is great, but just pay better attention to the colors you use...
and yeah...why do the models have the same cup size? Haha!
well i like the color combination brown/tan, i find its pleasing to my eyes. but the design itself is a little off for me. the lions face looks like its hand drawn but the mane looks like its clipart. so it doesnt flow for me

Yes i agree there should be a girl model with a (bigger) cupsize, so we can really see a more realistic endresult for woman....
Sadly not a buy for me though. It looks like a lion's face with a lot of mane coming out the sides rather than a lion's head framed by the mane. I'm not sure how better to explain it, but what I see is an oddly angled mask and that just isn't working for me. Perhaps some fill-in behind the mouth area would fix it?
i love how people reply about a shirt for sale saying they can't afford to buy it, everyday.
anyways,
artist has potential, shirt designs not bad, not buying it though :D

I fear a curvy woman will make this shirt somewhat 3D. This may be a selling point for some... not so much for me.
oh J-tizzle. and to think just 11 short years ago we were skipping the first 20 min of art class to get a sausage biscuit!! lol. I'm buyin' deuce. \m/...actually \mm/ too much metal for one hand.
I bought the Lion Guardant shirt and wish it had this color scheme instead - I love this. I don't need more than one lion shirt though, so sadly I'm gonna pass on this. Both shirts are pretty similar anyway...
Like the placement on the women's shirt, but I can't really bring myself to buy it because I'm sure the design is going to pull a disappearing act on my chest. Couldn't we get a model who could help chestier girls get an idea of what the shirt will look like on?
How many lion shirts have there been now? Four or five? And I have one of them.
The placement of this one on a woman may be kind of strange. The lion's mouth looks like it will be right on one of the "girls." That reminds me of a Native American/Apache folk tale.

Considering it's just the image Photoshopped onto the models, it's just going to look even more distorted if the girl had a bigger chest. I have the same problem with seeing how it will wear. But unless they start modeling the actual product instead of a representation, that problem's just always going to exist for us ladies.

It's really annoying hearing people talk about "realistic" sized women. I'm a woman, a real woman, and I have A cups. My mother, a mother of three healthy adults, is a B cup. Many of the women in my family are A or B cups. You think it's hard finding clothes to fit your size or designs to match your figure? EVERYONE has that problem, no matter what their size is. Everywhere I go, "REAL women have curves". So what does that make me, an impostor? A fake woman, because I don't have "realistic" breasts? Funny, you don't see guys complaining about how a shirt's going to look over their moobs. /rant
What concerns me about this design is that the graphic on the woman's tee starts right at the neckline. I'm tempted to buy it, but that makes it look less neat.

I apologize if I've ruffled anyone. Each day I come here to check out the art. No matter how much I like something, I can't get one for me as TF doesn't have a XXXLT to cover my 6'6" 265lb frame. So I try to support TF and artists by purchasing for me lady. She likes tighter "fitted" tees, but has patiently asked that I be more conscientious of design placement and to take her curves into consideration before purchase.
I'm certain that you and your mother are "real" and perfectly lovely women. It would just be nice to see on a model or have a curvier TF browser mention their placement concerns so a dope like me can have a heads up.
Rolled the dice and purchased this design. Worst case is I'll get that slightly disappointed "didn't I tell you..." look ya'll have perfected and another (perhaps less gentle) reminder.
So why not just add two models to the ones already there? A chesty gal and a fat guy. Then everyone will know how they look. :D There's a reason I am your president. I get things done! TIME FOR CHANGE!

Nice design, but I've bought too many over the last week or so :P
In regards to everyone ranting about boobs.... I am fairly endowed myself, (okay, overly >.
Somehow my entire post disappeared...So anywho as I was saying:
Nice design, but I've bought too many over the last week or so :P
In regards to everyone ranting about boobs... I am fairly endowed myself, (okay, overly >.>) and have only ever had one Teefury shirt look warped or just horrible because of my chest. Mind you, I have purchased dozens of shirts from here in the past. With that being said, it seems like Teefury is fairly aware of their female customers and tend to have very good placement with their shirts.
I would just bite the bullet, and if a shirt ever looks THAT bad, there's always Teetrade.
I really love the mane turning into leaves, but not a big fan of where the roaring lion mouth is on the lady's tee. And I'm also not too sure about the whole design starting at the neckline, but very cool mane.
when i put on this shirt, i will roar like a lion. i will be king of the jungle, in wilkes county. if only the detroit lions would use this as a jersey....
Hey - Does anyone have extra of this shirt? I meant to get it for my bro - the 22nd was his birthday, and something didn't go right with the order. I'll own up to messing that up, but I was hoping there was a way to still get one. His name is Judah - so it was perfect for him.
Words from the Curator: Ahh.. me and my soft spot for animals with mouths wide open. ha! Really love the flow on this one!
Tell us about this design: This design is the antithesis of my personality. I'm not typically a loud or outspoken person, so it feels good when I can express something like this through art.
Tell us about yourself: I'm a 29 year old who designs fire alarm systems for a living, but look forward to the downtime I have when I get home to work on my art.
Do you own alot of shirts? If so, what's your favorite? I do own a lot of shirts. My favorite one at the moment is from the band Between the Buried and Me. It's based on the cover they did of Queen's "Bicycle". It's a throwback to a great design.
What inspires you? History and technology. The juxtaposition of both really fascinates me. I'm also really inspired by music.
How did you get into art? Growing up, I always drew a lot. I got serious about it in high school when one of my teachers really pushed me. Thank you Mr. Holcomb. And then there was college . . .
What would be your dream job? My initial dream job was to be a graphic designer for a big metal and rock record labels, but that didn't really pan out. And of course like everyone else I want to have my own clothing company, but I do really love my job now.
What are a few of your favorite websites? I love emptees, gomedia, theprp, lambgoat, and of course teefury.
Any shout outs? 3 Quarters Dead, a band that I've worked with for a while, for supplying an outlet for my artistic hunger, and AJ, thanks for noticing a needle in a haystack.
