yah, it is a beautiful moon in the background. i think there should be more shirts with the teal and black combo though. there are certain colors that just go really well together, and i think this shirt really uses them well. the only thing keeping me from buying this shirt is that i've bought the past two shirts and if i continue to buy all these awesome teefury shirts, one: i'll run out of money, and, two: i'll run out of space to put them, lol. ^_^

this guy is so talented. i bought the rabbit shirt when it was printed and sometimes when i wear i find myself just staring at the intricate designs... yeah people look at you funny when you're enthralled in your tee. i love the moon and colors on this one. it's a little eerie though... not sure if it's a buy yet.

Although this tee isn't something i would wear, i like it. i can feel the cool alaskan night air eminating from my computer screen. i love the color scheme and the line work below the raindeer. best of all is the translucent skull in the head. eerie, creepy and beautiful

It's me with my continuity issues. Why are there stars in the antlers? It's one of those simple things that tweak me out and would annoy me every time I wore it. The other thing that just seems a bit off is WHAT IS UP WITH THE HEAD/FACE/SKULL?

The colors are awesome and the shape is great. If those two things were different I'd probably buy it.

Are you referring to "When Pandas Attack"? Also I never knew Jimiyo used to look like Egon Spengler.

I kind of hate bringing this here, but am I the only one fed up with the "competition" in the newsletter?

It's a lie. There is no technical way TF can see if you've opened an e-mail. Why does Teevil gotta lie to us?

(There actually is one way, but it is not used by anyone but spammers as it is considered an invasion of privacy by web devs. Which is no better!)

Seeing that information is a common feature of newsletter services. It would be automatically collected whether we decided to use it or not, but it's a lot more fun to use it and reward our fans :)

Incorrect. We can see who opens the newsletters. It makes sense when you consider that the images/links all reside on a server elsewhere and not embedded in the email.

Although I do like the phrasing "Why does Teevil gotta lie to us?"

It's not permanent. It's to let people know we got stickers. We were excited to get them and want to share!

I would buy this but for the following reasons:
a- I'm tired of buying black shirts. I know this art works best on black, doesn't mean I have to like it!
b- I'd much rather have art of this calibre as a fine print rather than screenprinted onto fabric. Not that any other designs TeeFury print aren't a high standard, just I think this would be appreciated better framed than draped around a human torso.
c- I'm poor

I've been trying like crazy to open the first email, but emails always end up coming out at around 11ish. I'm pretty sure my teachers won't understand the importance of me running out of their class to check my email to get shirts and stickers. Sad, but true.

We should have neon TeeFury. Like neon bowling. But with TeeFuy.

Please welcome back Nathan. It's a very DesignByHumans-ish design isn't it? And we're offering at Teefury $9 price. Sounds like a deal to me!

Can you tell us about this design?
This design was inspired by a place near where I grew up, the Gerstle River in Interior Alaska. In the 50's the army did a lot of chemical weapons testing there, and years later hikers would sometimes come across circles of dead caribou. There is lots of half-buried suspicious looking barrels. I used to hike and camp around in there. It's kind of silent and eerie at night, and I wanted to portray that. I was also listening to a lot of Pixies at the time I was working on this.

Do you work as an artist? If not, what's your occupation?
I was an artist for a promotional products company that was awesome while it lasted. R.I.P Absorbent Ink! Currently on the hunt.

What's a day in the life of Nathan like?

Just waking up in the morning gotta thank God,
I don't know but today seems kinda odd
No barking from the dogs, no smog
And momma cooked a breakfast with no hog
I got my grub on, but didn't pig out
Finally got a call from a girl wanna dig out
Hooked it up on later as I hit the do'
Thinking will i live, another twenty-fo'
I gotta go cause I got me a drop top.....
Actually that's Ice Cube's day, but the song is remarkably similar to
my daily routine.

What was Alaska like? Is it like that TV show Northern Exposure?

Not really. I think that was filmed in Connecticut or somewhere. Did it have a talking moose? I can't remember that show at all. I think the closest approximation for the winter time would be the movie "30 Days of Night", minus a few vampires. Not seeing the sun for a long time does kind of mess with your head. Summertime is beyond awesome though.

Kansas. What moved you there?
My wife's grad school. Lawrence, where I live is an awesome town, lots of good music and great people. The rest of the state......is probably what you could imagine it's like. Also, I wanted to see a tornado.

Any random advice for our readers?
Stay in school. Crack is whack.
