    I really, really like this and will probably buy it. The seal/thumb on the side is cool too. As is the deck of cards on the bottom.

    A few days ago I watched a show about Jack the Ripper... it was really cool because they were trying to figure out what kind of guy he was by using modern science.
    Now this shirt is reminding me of the show, and I kinda really want this, it's an awesome design! I'll have to sleep on it.

    Oh I like this design a lot! And I like the ones on the sidebar too! :) It's so delicate but dark. I ♥ the elegance of the lamp post. And the portraits remind me of these Victorian style necklaces I used to have as a kid. They had cameos of ladies carved out of porcelain.

    I wish the side illistration of the Lion and Snake is amazing... I would've snatched that up in a hot second... this one... I llike it, the placement on the shirt is wrong I think though. I think it should be lower and offset a bit, but the illistration itself is a good one!

    I really like the design for this shirt. I like that the ghosts aren't too obvious. They do have a nice ethereal feel to them. And I think I prefer it on the navy. But why the bird?

    Also... the ethanol shirt reminds me of teaching college students. I might find that one for work.

    They are trying to make it so all of the comments are constructive criticism. Like, "I dont like this tee at all because ______" and kinda say the reason. Everyone was coming on and saying things like "ehh" or "could see this at target" and I guess they didnt like it.

    Doesnt always work because sometimes I just dont like the shirt but cant really figure out why. haha

    exatly thats exactly what i feel like here i honestly do see the issue with simply saying that i mean i even staed that i didnt know why and still got deleted i honestly think its the man trying to get us down and keep us from saying what we want

    I think a good rule of thumb when commenting is to ask yourself "Does this help the artist? Is it interesting or informative for others to read?"

    Unfortunately, stating that you don't know why you don't like something fails on both counts ;) Try thinking it through a bit and see what you come up with!

    This is a cool shirt but I'm not a fan of the Jack Ripper story nor am I quite familiar with it.

    I'm sure he killed 2 to 3 prostitutes but that's all I know pretty much about the topic.

    @melbel and jmaster876 Simple solution - if you don't know why you don't like a design and can't conform to the somewhat draconian posting guidelines - just don't post anything. There is no rule that you have to comment on EVERY shirt Melbel ;-)

    As for tonite's offering - very interesting design and I might consider purchasing it if I could wear women's sizes. I don't care for it on olive and I have more olive shirts than I need already LOL.

    It's not just about hurting the artists' feelings, it's also about being sure that you're making the best comment you can :) I have great faith in the posters here, and I think there's always something specific and useful that you can add to the conversation (whether it's about color, theme, style, or even the other work on the right). Anyone who would like to discuss the posting rules for the front page can do so in this thread on the forums

    i think this is a cute shirt. It's not as deep as some of you guys would like to think it is. Final Fantasy Spirits Within used the same idea...but no one really found that "cute". Haha! I think this is a good design though...

    First tee I've bought since 5/17/09 (Tuism's Spork Long and Prosper). Mainly because I have this severely unhealthy obsession with Cameos (thanks to generations of women on my mom's side). I even paid the $7 shipping so I can have it to wear in Atlanta, GA at Dragon*Con! Is anyone else going?

    The Card Ship design! I remember when it was up for voting on anothersite. I'm pretty sure I left an all caps comment there about how much I needed that on a tee. Still do. pokemon, a print! Something. That 3 design is magnificent too, btw.

    I kind of dig this, however, I don't like the eyes on the ghost figures, I wish they at least had upper eyelids. I also don't really understand what the bird has to do with anything. I don't mind the animals shirts that show up on here, I do really dislike all the bird ones (except for the teefury birds, of course ;)). I think something that bothers me about this above everything else is that it seems to come out of the blue, sort of random, like why Jack the Ripper?

    I have to admit it's cute though, and I love the side art.

    i got my shirt.
    first off LOVE IT.
    it came on such a dark blue though that the lamppost doesn't really show (cause the tee is as dark as the lamppost) so people keep asking me what my shirt "is".
    but it's still my all time fav teefury shirt.

    i got this shirt from the grab bag last week. it's disappointing that the picture above doesn't reflect how the shirt actually looks....on the girl's shirt, the tee is so dark that you can't see the pole, so it looks like a bunch of little ghost figures with no real solidifying concept to draw them together. can you please have better example pictures in the future, especially with the darker shits?? :[ I would have loved getting this shirt in the grab bag if it actually looked like the picture above.
