Typically I don't care for ZOMBIE related designs (they always seem kind of hackneyed to me), but this is a great bit of art and involves everyone's favorite surrealist painter no less.

Yes, when is the Queen of Hearts going to be up here. I love that one and I know we had a playing card themed one up not too long ago but when I saw the title of that one all I could think of was this design on the right. I LOVE IT!

This one is really well done, just not something I would wear. Congrats on the print, though! :D

Love the colors, not a fan at all of the subject or placement.

I mean, I love Dali, but somehow this really cheapens Dali for me.

the colors are way slick and I dig the splatter/grunge effects in the background (more of that TeeF! haha..) but like stabler said before me, the placement of his head seems funky... if it were more near the top (rather than the middle) then blablabla... that's being nitpicky though haha

This came out really well. Not sure if Dali was a great choice for a zombie. Obama zombie made sense because the image itself is iconic, while this just seems kind of random. Also, I'm not sure many people are going to recognize the artist, even people that are familiar with his work. That all being said, I think the image itself is pretty impressive whether or not you are familiar with the content.

Yeah, they sell frames on urban outfitters- specially for tshirts- however I'm sure any craft store frame would do (and I'm sure they're cheaper).

Also the owl design is charming

@CPUT99 Mine's cliche, but I have to say I really love his piece "The Persistence of Memory." It's just one of those works of art that you see once and you never forget.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for the positive feedback! And thanks again to CollisionTheory for getting this on teefury. This shirt really came about as a mixture of my love for art and Dali, and spending way too much time on emptees.

Seriously? I love Dali, everyone loves Dali, he was a great artist, but come on! Go to a museum, find some other artists, him and Andy Warhol were not actually the only artists ever to produce something interesting, surprisingly enough.

And zombies? Really played out, that trend needs to be coming to an end just like pirates. I'm going to continue watching zombie movies, but it's time to get over wearing shirts with them, getting them tattooed, or doing parodies of them.

From the side art, you look talented and original, from this design it certainly doesn't look that way.

Are zombies played out? Sure they are. But does it make this design look less better? not at all. I love the colors but I think the next shirt I buy will not be black.

As for this design, I'm going to keep thinking on it. I like it very much, I just don't know how much I'd honestly wear it.

I own a very nice boxed set of hardcover books containing the complete known works of Salvador Dali. In addition, I have a first edition printing of "The Jerusalem Bible" illustrated by Dali, and The Tarot Universal Dali. Although I know he's passed on and has been among the dearly departed for some time, I can't bear the notion of wearing a corpse version of one of my favorite artists.

However, the shirt is AWESOME and I'm sure that those who do buy it will enjoy it immensely. Incidentally, another artist's interpretation of this very same pose that I think is stunning can be found at www.connieredd.com/polygonzo/salvadordali.jpg.

I think it looks great, but the teal-ish color scheme detracts from the fierceness of the zombie. It's like "Grrr... I'm Zombie Dali in search of care bears and unicorns."
