    Holy smuuuuuurf, this shirt is lovely. The drawing of the elephant God (pardon my lack of proper name knowledge) is gorgeousssss. I only wish both shirts had been printed in the colours used on the ladies shirt, those colours have much more of an Indian feel to them.

    Haha, awesome. Loving the details and colors on the girl's even though I've never been a fan of banana. Only problem is I don't think many people would know what a sitar is, meaning many questions of what my shirt's 'point'...

    jimiyo posted once upon a time long long ago that it was up to the discretion of the curator what the mock up looked like. they used to post both and people complained it was too tiny. then they posted it the size it is now and people bitched it was too big, so now they show it one just one color.

    its not a hassle, my point was that in the very beginning, they tried it out a few different ways and settled upon how they do it now as the best compromise. no matter what way they mock it up, not everyone will like it, but there is no reason they cant show it on the womens color now and again. :)

    I prefer the coloring on the woman's shirt. And I think the idea is interesting and carried out well... BUT... like CollisionTheory said, Guitar Hero parodies are a dime a dozen... and this is a subject I'm already burnt out on. Had I seen this a year or two ago, I might have been more inclined to purchase it.

    The elephant-god Ganesha is, of course, more marketable as a uni-sex design, but I would be even more all over this shirt if Saraswati- goddess of music were depicted, even if very few people made the connection. I believe she is a multiple-armed deity herself...

    Isn't there one with six or eight arms? ...the blue chick?

    I think Shiva has eight arms. But I don't really now.

    The whole "(random instrument) hero" has sort of been done to death, though. This is a sweet design and it's almost saved by the presence of a super-cool elephant god but I'm going to have to say no.

    I completely heart that Go Earth design on the sidebar, though. Nice.

    All kidding aside (although the Guitar Hero pun/parody is a bit tired) it's a nicely done design. The art's excellent and the color scheme (especially one the girl's shirt) is stellar.

    i actually really like it. they are great colours for both shirts. and even though i don't usually like joke tees, this is a nice one. i'm sure my boyfriend will buy one for sure.

    and i actually agree, it would be nice to see the girls shirt up as the detail work once in a while. sometimes when the colours are so different it would be nice to see it. i know it makes the page bigger, but i think when they are different people shouldn't be too lazy or 'bulbasaur about' scrolling another four inches. personally, i would appreciate to see the girls tee up their when the colours are different.

    I've never been bothered by the detail shot being the male's (nor have I ever noticed), but one thing I have noticed is that frequently one or the other shirt color (like in this case) is widely viewed as superior. I suppose it would be pricey to print two sets of shirts in two different colors, but occasionally I've found the girl's shirt much more appealing than the guy's.

    Also I've seen complaints from female contributors regarding the fact that designs sometimes are "girlier" colored shirts, often to the detriment of the design itself. Just a few musings.

    Awesome shirt, I've seen Sitar Hero done before but this is just the perfect design with perfect colours on perfect shirts for once. Definitely picking it up. Thumbs up to whoever chose the shirt colours, so many designs lately have been mismatched but these look great.

    Considering that they're coming out with Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and DJ Hero within the year, I'd say this is still relevant despite existing "hero" shirts. If anything, it's even more relevant since it's not JUST Guitar Hero anymore, and the franchise has branched out into other "hero" games.

    Even if it's not a new pun, the design makes it work.

    Vishnu is male. Many of the gods were multi-armed. Your thinking of Durga the mother goddess.

    The finger placement if for the direction of energies. There are many different finger and hand placements for meditation. Think of it like prayer. It's not metal although metal could be saying to be unknowingly doing the same.

    Agreed, I may get this shirt ONLY because I LUV Ganesha. But I hate the Sitar Hero lettering, the colors on the sitar said it all, and the lettering ends up being LARGER than Ganesha - BOOoooo!. This design should have been like the Beer Bong Kings, the graphic says it all, no need for lettering - Those that got it - Got It, and those that didn't can simply enjoy the graphix. The HUGE lettering suxx major. Plus the man's Grey color super suxxs. Soooooo, in the end I hate most of the design points of this T - Buuuuuuut, I do Luuuuuv Genesha, it is so well done on this T. Soooooo I guess I'll go back to bed and dream on it.

    But I don't wanna be a downer for the artist - so I must say that all five side-bar graphix are most excellent, so the talent is there, I just wish that this T had held to the concept of less is more. To bad one can't order T's, 'ala carte'.

    Funny! I like it a lot, and I play Guitar Hero all the time (so my friends would find this amusing), but the joke isn't funny enough to wear on a regular basis. I've bought too many t-shirts recently for this one to make the cut.

    However, if I saw the "I'm On A Boat" shirt anywhere, AJ Paglia would have my money in a minute. (That might seem a bit hypocritical, but I don't care. I love "I'm On A Boat.")

    Not that it matter much to me, but they could do it as a rollover effect. When you mouse over the image it switches to the other view.

    I like the colors on both tees (actually the girls one is better) but I don't like the 2 second humor. The novelty would probably wear off in the first 5 minutes. It's a better made $6 dollar joke tee that you'd find on some other site. And if it is a tee vector from the T-shirt factory as IA says, then I can't even compliment on "your" good work.

    I love this shirt, but I am mainly commenting to suggest shoes. Teefury guys that do this whole thingy, have you ever thought about putting artwork on shoes? I used to buy canvas shoes and use fabric markers on them and it was awesome

    This really disappoints me. I saw this tee in the preview, but all it showed was the Ganesha illustration, so I was super excited. I was hoping to see an awesome artistic depiction of an elephant god, not another parody shirt.

    is there anything original on this shirt? maybe the sitar...the elephant is someone else's vector and the lettering was traced from the simpsons poster. Makes sense that the artist's inspiration is Shephard Fairey, also a heavy "borrower" of imagery.

    That isn't accurate. While the Simpsons image and this design look similar, it is because both are based on the Guitar Hero logo. There are some differences in execution that make it clear this wasn't traced from The Simpsons.

    Also, the vector was legally purchased and has been altered from the original.

    I respectfully disagree. It looks as if some of the original corners of the letters were cut off with the outline, but the lettering is otherwise exactly the same; for example: the last "O" looks exactly the same with the angles of the "horn-like" edges.
