A Thousand Enemies

Teefurians clamor restlessly and shout we want Art! And as if Luc Picard instructed, we made it so!
Tell us about this design: I drew this after reading Watership Down recently, a book I loved as a kid. The rabbit gets away.
you developed the style? Has it been a developing/evolving throughout
your art endeavors?
I am a big fan of Alphonse Mucha's style and 19th century art and ornamental design. I think the ornamental stuff has kind of been overdone in the past couple of years with the advent of vector packs and generic photoshop brushes, so I have kind of changed direction a little bit and gotten a little more organic recently, but the influence is still there. My style has taken a turn for the better since I have backed off from using the computer in the beginning stages. I find that I get a better result when i set down with a pencil and a nice piece of bristol.
Do you have any interesting hobbies or tales of intrigue? I recently relocated to Kansas from Alaska, so I like to stick my head in the freezer every once in a while. I am trying to make designing, sketching and painting the way I spend my free time.
Any advice for aspiring designers/artists? Sketch a lot and work every day. (That is advice more to myself than anyone else.)
